Very pleasant and atmospheric spot for aperitivo. Service friendly and prompt. Great place to enjoy your drink and watch people go by.

An okay place for an aperitivo, but nothing special. The cocktails weren’t properly made; for instance, the aperol spritz tasted a bit off and the moscow mule was definitely not what it was supposed to be - they served the ginger beer aside, for the customer to pour it themselves. Additionally, the aperitivo bites weren’t much, but at least the olives and the bread with prosciutto were tasty. The staff was kind tho.

Lovely experience during our visit to Trento! I went to Il Monello with my boyfriend while we were visiting from Germany and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, the guys from the staff were very friendly and the drinks fantastic… highly recommend Hugo!. We also had a great coffee and some light snacks. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. A perfect spot for coffee or aperitivo in the city center. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Trento!

27/02/2026: This stay was amazing and an experience that I will never forget. All the staff is excellent and especially Antonio in the bar and Luca in the restaurant.
17/02/2026: Hotel stay of our dreams! Haven’t seen such a special hotel: To begin with, it was just a home away from home, everything felt cozy and as your welcomed to a big family. The food was delicious- breakfast and dinner, our gluten free issue was solved easily and each dish our daughter wanted was customized gluten free. The waiter Luca was really adorable with the kids (all waiters were super professional). Mrs.Rina the hotel owner chatted with guests at breakfast and dinner and made sure everything was okay. Truly haven’t seen this in any other hotel in the world. The shuttle service was 100/100 with the amazing driver who helped with the ski equipment all along. The spa was such a delight, 3 saunas, an indoor pool and jacuzzi- everything we needed. The room was clean and tidy, a lot of storage room. Really exquisite hotel!
