Very unique and experimental cocktails. The atmosphere and service were very good too. I strongly recommend it if you are a cocktail lover and want to try something unusual!

Il Mercante was the perfect last stop for our final evening in Venice. Friendly and helpful bartenders making seriously impressive cocktails. The vibe and atmosphere transport you back in time. Loved the map and the globe. Great spot to plot our next adventure! You must stop in and see this one for yourself! Cheers!

Possibly the best cocktails bar. Everything is simply perfect : service, ambiance, flavours, originality, and a fair pricing. I would come to Venice just for enjoying a drink at Il Mercante.

Can not suggest a better cocktail bar in Venice than this one. We seated outdoor by choice. It was a good vibe. The staff kept us informed of how busy Saturday night could be. And made excellent suggestion for cocktails to our liking. Would recommend for a drink or more.

Stellar experience and definite recommendation for all drinks/cocktail lovers. Besides the amazing cocktails and unique combinations, I appreciated so much how the team made sure to take care of me because I am currently pregnant. After I mentioned that I only go for 0,0% alcohol options, they were a 100% understanding, created a special drink for me (which was amazing), double-checking that it suited my needs. Many other bars/restaurants unfortunately don‘t really care, I was so glad to make a different experience here. Will definitely come back!

Hands down the best cocktail bar in Venice. The staff are incredibly friendly and great at making drinks.

Ci siamo fermati casualmente in questo posticino di fronte alla bellissima Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, dove abbiamo trovato Matilde e Silvia che con grande professionalità e passione ci hanno fatto assaggiare dei “cicchetti” da vero gourmet, accompagnati dall’immancabile spritz e da un un buon bicchiere di vino. A quanto pare sono brave anche nella preparazione di cocktail e drink, che con ogni probabilità proveremo la prossima volta, se avremo la possibilità di tornare. Consigliatissimo!
