Too bad it closed. For me it was the best pizza by the slice in Bologna. For 12/13 years it was my point of reference in the centre. Greetings to all the guys on the staff. I will miss you ❤️

I was there in 2014, as a tourist coming from Brazil. I cannot forget the kindness, the simplicity (I was a tourist without much money...). Il Mascalzone was the place where I ate a real Italian pizza, when I arrived from the walk, in the late afternoon! I'll definitely go back one day!

Student friendly price and decent pizza slices (soft style). If you want authentic crisp pizza restaurant experience, then this is not the place for you.

29/11/2024: The pizza is SUPER GOOD! I love it!! It's a shame for the guys who work there who aren't always kind... but understandable... working in constant contact with the public may not always be pleasant.
