Il Mare in Tavola In Terracina

Finding ourselves in Terracina, we decided to have a fish-based dinner without breaking the bank. After browsing a few restaurants and reading a few reviews, we went to Mare in Tavola. As soon as we arrived, we stood in line (not exactly short), and after about forty minutes, we reached the restaurant. The restaurant is set up like a canteen, so you can just walk in and choose your favorite dish. The selection is extensive, with various starters and main courses, all strictly fish-based, and various vegetable sides. The quality of the ingredients is good, as is the way they're cooked. Unfortunately, if they're not freshly prepared, they lose their flavor and taste like reheated dishes (see the limp fried fish or overcooked cod). Overall, we didn't have a bad meal, especially considering the very reasonable prices.

Excellent place to eat fresh, well-cooked fish. It's a cafeteria-style place; you pick up a tray and choose your dishes. There's a wide selection of appetizers, first and second courses, and side dishes. The dishes are hot and very good. The price is reasonable. An excellent place if you want to eat well and not spend too much.

We love seafood, and this place has been a regular stop for years. I don't rate the service (because it's nonexistent) or the atmosphere (it's a self-service fishmonger). Excellent value for money. Fair prices for drinks, too.

Fresh fish at fair prices, even the seafood salad had fresh carrots and celery. Be careful, because they're selling real stingrays.

It's a place to grab a quick bite. Nothing extraordinary, the food was decent, the service could be completely overhauled, and the location, close to the canal, had a few unpleasant gusts of air, and was harassed by flies that wouldn't leave you alone.

It's now a surefire stop when I visit Terracina. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the price is fair for what you get. Highly recommended.

Top per essere una tavola calda,personale gentile,divertente e svelto.Ci sono moltissimi tavoli che sono molto grandi e i prezzi per quanto mi riguarda alla portata di tutti.Consigliatissimo per qui vuole spendere poco.
