We are in Sutrio, the town of nativity scenes. This wine shop/bistro was a great discovery. From "do-it-yourself" sandwiches to soups (I tried one with beans and one with really good onions), from burgers to platters. A special recognition for the berry tart: all high quality local products.

During our holiday we went to Sutrio to visit the "land of nativity scenes", but walking makes you hungry and we went to this modern "wine shop" which is the right mix between a typical place and a "classic" mountain one. The menu is also complete, ranging from classic dishes to new ones with the possibility of making your own sandwich with the ingredients you prefer. We had a bruschetta with trout and a focaccia with ham, both excellent. The service is punctual and easy-going. A place suitable for everyone and all seasons, to be visited even in summer with the external pergola. Advised

Pochi piatti caldi e menu non troppo vasto ma qualità dei cibi veramente ottima. Salumi dal gusto unico ed il piatto medio è già decisamente abbondante. Ottimo il panino hamburger,cotto giustamente al sangue con i condimenti giusti. Personale veloce e disponibile in un ambiente curato e rustico allo stesso tempo. La mattina si possono trovare ottimi dolci. Il tutto a prezzi assolutamente onesti. Da tornarci senza troppi indugi.

Interesting wine shop... we stopped to eat by chance and were very satisfied. Typical local quality products. The crostone with trout, the cartufules (potatoes) with speck cream cheese and fried onion, the toc in braide with smoked sausage and a homemade homemade tart are delicious. But there is no shortage of sandwiches, special burgers, focaccias, platters of cold cuts and cheeses, fish and chips with trout... Very friendly staff and good value for money! We will be back!

We stopped for lunch after a visit to the town. Very kind staff, helpful and fast. Very good food!! Super recommended!

Last evening in Carnia before returning and we decided to try this wine shop. We arrive (we had already booked) and we are welcomed by a kind young lady who, despite being a little "busy", kindly asks us to wait a moment. He assigns us a table and we decide on a (medium) plate of local cold cuts, very good, and whoever accompanies us chooses a bruschetta with marinated salmon trout (trout from a local farm) with guacamole and burrata + cherry tomatoes, also very good. For the second courses we opted for a sliced ​​chicken, with a balsamic vinegar glaze and fried potatoes (in their skin), the cooking was excellent and the potatoes were good. Whoever accompanied us chose a "fish & chips" which was fruit with salmon trout (rather than the cod they use in the UK) with potatoes, also with the skin, a balanced dish, excellent frying and the quality of the salmon trout. Closing with a grappa, and for those accompanying us, an ice cream. Excellent quality of raw materials, fast and friendly service. To return

We went there by chance for dinner on Saturday evening, a nice and well-maintained place, friendly and fast staff and above all what is not to be taken for granted with a smile, we sat on the lovely outdoor terrace where we enjoyed some BBQ ribs with french fries, a cut of chicken with vegetables and some frant cheese balls... what can I say, it was all so delicious that any compliment would be trivial... the cream ice cream with berries? The tart? I won't even tell you what they were like... these are things that can't be told, you have to experience them!!! See you again soon congratulations guys!!!
