The Magician of Focaccia in Copertino was a truly pleasant discovery! The restaurant is located almost at the end of the city, next to the sports center, and is welcoming and well-kept, with a space that is not too large but well organized. Furthermore, for those who want to stop and eat on the spot, there are some comfortable sofas that make the environment even more pleasant. As soon as you enter, you find yourself in front of a display case that is a true spectacle for the eyes and the appetite: chock-full of freshly baked goodness, hot, fragrant and freshly prepared. Every product we tried was delicious, made with care and with ingredients that immediately felt fresh and of high quality. The staff was very kind, smiling and helpful, ready to advise and serve with attention. Another strong point? The prices! Absolutely excellent and accessible, which makes the quality-price ratio truly unbeatable. I definitely recommend a visit: whether you want a spectacular focaccia, a tasty snack or simply something good and genuine, you will be safe here.

Agriturismo Calamate

13/09/2025: We were thrilled with the cuisine, service, and location at Calamate. We stayed in Gallipoli for 12 days, and we ate there four times. It was undoubtedly the best dinners of the entire trip. The appetizer selection—the burratina, the homemade orecchiette, and the bombette (which we tried breaded and baked here)—were all exceptional, as were the grilled red tuna and the pasta with scampi. The ingredients are excellent, and the price, in my opinion, perfectly in line with what's on offer. If you're in Gallipoli, it's worth a visit!
24/08/2025: Excellent food, a very beautiful and well-maintained location, but the access road is unpaved and unlit. The least pleasant aspect was the owner, or whoever seemed to be the owner. He was kind but not at all friendly; ordering with him was like running a marathon. He made it clear he had no time to waste, albeit politely. There was no opportunity to comment on the dishes or anything else related to the dinner. The waiters were very nice. As mentioned, the food was truly excellent, especially the orecchiette.

11/10/2025: The sandwiches and pizzas are excellent. The place is clean, but the wait times are a bit long due to the lack of advance reservations on weekends. I would return often and recommend it.
25/09/2025: Beautiful place, excellent service, very kind and welcoming staff, very reasonable prices, lots of choice, and the sandwiches are out of this world. Highly recommended, I'll be back. Quality ingredients, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth meat, soft, well-seasoned bread.
