Il Maestrale In Otranto

Simply fantastic. Starting at 3:00 p.m., the restaurants in Otranto go into siesta. The small bistro Il Maestrale remains open. It's a great atmosphere. A beautiful view of the small marina. The food is delicious. The service is very attentive and friendly. A definite recommendation.

Next to the sea and away from the crowds of tourists on the square! The focaccia we got was very tasty and the staff was very kind! The canapes are a little uncomfortable.

If you're around sunset and want to stop for an aperitif, you can't go wrong here; you're in the right place... beautiful and truly chic. The aperitif for two was also super good. I recommend it.

Il Maestrale is probably the bar with the most beautiful location in Otranto, right on the harbor, with the sunset's gorgeous colors. The atmosphere in the evening is very cool, a youthful atmosphere full of young people but also adults with children. The cocktail menu is interesting, as is the wine by the glass; I had a whiskey sour and my girlfriend a glass of rosé. Let's just say my cocktail was average; I wasn't thrilled. I was disappointed that they didn't bring anything with the drink, not even a couple of chips or two olives, all of which were paid for. Coming from the Marche region, in a region very close to Romagna, I don't make these kinds of mistakes. It would take very little to make an evening unforgettable, but instead, these things get lost. Ultimately, a good bar that, with a few more touches, could become a landmark on the Salento Adriatic coast.

Really nice bar at the waterfront in Otranto. We came here several times for drinks during our vacation. Nice sofas to sit in, lots of stuff to look at, tasty selection of wines. So nice and relaxing!

A wonderful aperitivo spot right on the waterfront. Full views of the castle and the lungomare, this place is it for a calm atmosphere and nice drinks. Friendly and attentive staff who will remember you, and a large selection of drinks. Amazing live band on Sundays.
