A very elegant, welcoming, and refined restaurant with the renowned chef Peppe Macchia in the kitchen. Here you can find delicious and original dishes, seafood, and excellent wines and champagnes for an unforgettable and unique dinner. The cuisine is both seafood and meat. Recommended!

A gem hidden in a relatively quiet part of the city very close to the train station. All food we tried tasted and served perfect. We tried the sea food options both for appetizers and the main courses. I highly recommend.

The owner was friendly and the service was acceptable and fair. Personally, I expected much more, even though I didn't order anything special, so I have to be respectful of the rest of the menu. The calamari wasn't great and the portion was average...the seafood salad, ditto. The mixed salad was decent and plentiful. The fries weren't very generous in quantity (luckily, we asked for two portions and they brought three, charging us for all three), but they were still good. I'd go back to try the first courses, since the owner actually ate them; otherwise, for what I ordered (and paid), I probably wouldn't repeat the experience.

An excellent lunch in every way: the fresh and well-prepared fish appetizers, I recommend the seafood salad, the perfect fried fish, and the rice with mussels. The service is attentive and discreet.

08/01/2026: Excellent food, with a well-stocked and attractive cured meats and cheese counter, a wide selection of wines, and very friendly staff: a place that gives tourists a wonderful impression of Lecce!
04/01/2026: I'll start by saying that, despite being listed on Google Maps only as a food and wine restaurant, this is also an excellent bistro/trattoria. It's a small place, with the left side occupied by a long counter stocked with fresh local produce and excellent products from other areas. In warmer temperatures, you can also eat outside. Let's get to the food: although the menu also includes recipes and ingredients not strictly from Salento, presented in original combinations, we chose and shared: - Frisa with cherry tomatoes and arugula, Martinafranca capocollo, fresh Salento cheeses - Eggplant, pepper, and caper caponata - Fava beans and chicory with croutons - Eggplant parmigiana - Almond mousse Everything was truly delicious, from the first bite to the last, with excellent ingredients. Every dish offers an unexpected surprise: the Frisa, for example, made with burnt wheat and cereals; among the fresh cheeses, a delicious ricotta and others flavored with chili pepper, pistachio, and more; Striped caponata with a delicate sweet and sour sauce; textbook fava beans and chicory, so balanced in flavors and textures that they top my personal Salento ranking; almond mousse beyond all expectations. The parmigiana deserves a special mention: good, but surprisingly made with a ground beef ragù that, even though it was present in very small quantities, I personally would have preferred not to find. But this is a matter of personal preference, so much so that my companion liked this version precisely because it differs from the classic basil sauce. The dishes were beautifully presented. Attentive and courteous service, and although the table was set with a paper placemat, the cutlery was replaced after each course. The price was absolutely fair considering the quality and quantity. I recommend coming and trying it for yourself; it's definitely worth it.
