Very pleasant staff. Simple but very good food. Cannot understand why there are so many bad reviews of this place, as both waiting staff members were very attentive and nice. Indeed 2 cover charges, but replaces the tip. Prices similar to all the other restaurants in area. Bonus sunny terrace overlooking the castle. Nice local white wine.

I'm seeing many bad reviews and I'm not sure why. Very cozy place and friendly staff. The food was amazing, I had the gnocchi and the pork had great flavor. Wife had the pizza and it was phenomenal. The crust was so soft, light and fluffy it almost melted in your mouth.

We've been there three times already...the manager speaks German, and so does the current service staff...so no barriers! Very nice...we felt very comfortable, and the view of the castle was fantastic!

Conditionally recommended, nice ambience in the shadow of the castle, but a bit pushy waiter, the food was delicious, however a small portion of tuna without side dishes for 23 euros is quite expensive

Best food we've had in Italy! Smoked Goose Carpaccio, beef carpaccio, beef tartare, shrimp scampi with tomatoes and zucchini.

One of our best meals in Italy! Very simple preparation which let the ingredients shine. All our lunch dishes were fantastic including: spaghetti with scampi, zucchini and tomatoes, the beef & smoked goose carpaccios and beef tartare. Prices were reasonable. No idea why they’re not rated higher on Google reviews.

BEST meal we’ve had since we arrived 9 days ago! It’s a MUST when you are in town and won’t disappoint. We had the BEST and most friendly service as well! It’s a hidden gem! And BEST kept secret! Thank you for the incredible experience! We will be back another time!

Luckily, we went in prior to checking the reviews. Our server was pleasant and efficient. We were seated right away at a nice terrace table overlooking the castle.
We ordered the mixed salad, (big enough to share), the Filet with Porcini Mushrooms and Truffle flakes and the Lamb chops. We also had a side of sautéed spinach with Parmesan.
Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. The lamb chops were perfect for me, because I prefer a bit of salt in my seasoning.
I enjoyed the red wine from Bardolino.
Everything was delicious, and reasonably priced.
