Il Grottino In Savignano sul rubicone

We made a reservation for a Sunday for eight of us and asked for a fish menu for everyone. Even though the restaurant was busy, the wait wasn't long. The service was attentive to our requests. We loved the fish dishes so much that we returned and will definitely be back soon. The restaurant is a bit noisy inside and unpretentious, but the outside is pleasant in the summer.

We ate pizza and I have to say it was very good, the service was also good, the only flaw was the dessert, the zuppa inglese had too much liquor and the cream was grainy and also the tiramisu was tasteless, I would say they need improvement.

I love thin, crispy pizza; this one was good and decidedly light. Prices are reasonable, with a menu featuring both meat and seafood.

Perhaps, or probably, it's because I'm lazy. I'm not a fan of reviews, but after accidentally stumbling upon this corner of authentic Romagna and Italianness, and returning—at least three times so far—I feel the need to say a few words about this place. What did I like? I'd say everything. The familiar welcome we received, the efficient service (the last time there were 12 of us, everyone basically ordered something different, and no one was delayed), the authentic flavor of the food, the generous portions, and the fair price during a peak summer holiday period where, unfortunately, we've noticed a general increase in prices. A place run entirely by women, and in addition to typical female efficiency, no one spared a smile. Lookers of gourmet places or dishes smothered in oriental spices are asked to refrain. Lovers of popular and unique Mediterranean cuisine, full steam ahead! Simply thank you.

A restaurant from another era, that is, the 1980s, where it stopped and never started again. Despite this, the fish menu was quite good: appetizers covered in mayonnaise and other extra sauces, bagged salmon with truly useless parsley on top, salad and arugula thrown in for presentation, which is promptly wasted on every appetizer. It's a shame, because it doesn't take much to make fried fish and delicious fish skewers even better. The pizzas are interesting; I didn't try the first courses, which I think could definitely be better than the cold appetizers.

The fish tortelloni were delicious... The cold appetizer and mixed fried fish were also delicious!!! The bill was really interesting!!

We kindly asked for the larger portion of tagliatelle, obviously paying for the larger one. The platter we received was super generous and super seasoned. The second courses were also truly excellent (they didn't charge for the larger one). I want to thank you on behalf of all the guests, THANK YOU SO MUCH 😘
