Il Grillo In Cremona

Typical Italian restaurant, quite nice, clean. The mussels and gnocchi were very good. The pizzas are thin crust but quite good. However, the desserts were not up to scratch.

We happened upon this pizzeria by chance, unaware that there was a Riposso in Italy. The person who greeted us was very kind in letting us know the time, as we had just arrived around 1:40 PM. I told him we were just coming for lunch, and they said it was no problem. In short: Great pizza. Good prices. Friendly and professional staff. We ended up leaving at 2:15 PM, and the service was super efficient. The only thing I would recommend for anyone who doesn't know anything is to arrive around noon or after 3:45 PM if you want to take your time. It was delicious.

On a public holiday, many places in the historic center were closed and so for a quick family lunch we chose this pizzeria just outside the concentric area. Thin and crunchy pizza, cooked in a wood oven, definitely good. The service in an informal but overall refined environment is more than adequate.

We went to this restaurant/pizzeria in Cremona on the occasion of an event at Cremonafiere, we had such a great time that we went back every lunch and dinner, very good first courses, excellent meat, and also very good, generously sized pizza. I would like to mention the desserts in particular: truly remarkable pastiera and panna cotta with saffron and caramel!! Very friendly and welcoming staff, I highly recommend it!!!
