I've been going to Il Girasole Restaurant in Chiarano, in the province of Treviso, for many years. Every time, it's a surprise of deliciousness and beauty. Today, for example, off-menu, they offered tagliolini with scampi, zucchini flowers, and dried tomatoes, as well as a delicious dish with grilled scallops. We devoured both! A kind, attentive, and always smiling waitress, she accompanied us with a genuine sweetness that was evident in every little gesture.
