Don’t be fooled by the exterior of this treasure. What looks to be a small restaurant with just a couple of tables outside opens up at the back into a large garden room with an opening / closing roof. The staff are very friendly and the food and wine are excellent as is the service. We stayed in a little hotel opposite who didn’t even know how good it was but they should recommend this to all of their guests. It’s a little off the beaten track but within 10 minutes walk of the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain.

My sister visited this restaurant last year and insisted we try it and I’m so glad we did. I ordered the cacio e pepe with shrimp, which had its own unique twist thanks to a subtle hint of lemon. It was a delicious, unexpected take on a classic dish. We also tried the house wine, which paired perfectly with the meal. It had a light, refreshing flavor that didn’t overpower the food, definitely worth ordering. For dessert, we ordered both the original tiramisu and the pistachio version. If you do the same, start with the original, which is light and well-balanced, then finish with the pistachio, which is rich, flavorful, and absolutely decadent. The pistachio is so bold it will definitely overshadow the original if eaten first. This place is popular, so I suggest making a reservation or arriving right when they open to secure a table.

Could not recommend this restaurant more. The owner is fabulous and her team is top notch. Ate here twice and the only reason we didn’t a third time was we wanted to experience different food styles.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and service was good too. However when I asked if the automatic service charge included the tip, I was told no. However after dining at other restaurants in Rome I feel like that wasn't true. -1 star for that. Ask before you order.

Recensione mista e francamente con l’amaro un po’ in bocca. Io e mio marito siamo andati a cena qui ieri, ci siamo trovati mediamente bene. Io ho mangiato bene, e dal menu posso certamente consigliare cacio e pepe, saltimbocca e patate al forno che erano molto buoni! Purtroppo mio marito ha avuto una cena completamente diversa dalla mia: carbonara un po’ insipida che ha dovuto aggiustare di sale e pepe (era ok.. niente di sorprendente), ha ordinato il filetto di chateaubriand e li ci siamo divertiti. È il taglio più pregiato di carne, e quello che ha ricevuto nel piatto era tutto tranne. Per chiarire, sembrano degli straccetti tagliati spessi serviti con salsa Bernese dal barattolo. 3 persone ci hanno spiegato il taglio (che torno a ripetere non sembrava per niente che), e il processo di cottura (forno, poi tagliato e passato alla griglia). Di questo taglio di carne ne abbiamo mangiato in passato, e abbiamo spiegato che non era certamente quello che mio marito si aspettava. Certi piatti molto buoni e alcuni meglio lasciare stare. Hanno onorato lo sconto offerto per prenotare tramite Fork, e offerto il limoncello a mio marito. I titolari sono carinissimi e il personale cortese a sufficienza, e hanno provato a “rimediare”… consiglio il posto, ma forse il pesce è più il loro punto forte.

Il posto, nonostante la vicinanza alla zona Barberini, non e' turistico. Ci sono tuttavia alcuni aspetti da considerare, il servizio e' ottimo, ma affidato in orario pranzo di fatto ad un cameriere (la situazione migliora in orario serale comunque), alcuni piatti non brillavano per gusto e preparazione (pancetta nei primi che la contenevano quasi carbonizzata). Il prezzo (non adeguato all qualità) e' comunque coerente con la zona.
