Excellent lunch overlooking the lake. Very good fish first courses and in our opinion abundant (just enough to fill you up without feeling sick). Excellent and light mixed fried fish and octopus on a bed of very good and plentiful mashed potatoes. Excellent quality wine by the glass (Vermentino). We ate outside and it was very good. The prices are not excessive.

Everything perfect, from starters to desserts. Perfectly cooked, exquisite dishes and beautifully presented. Friendly, attentive and competent staff.

Sad to see less than 4 stars! We had a nice dinner this evening outside by the lake. The food and service were exceptional!

The location in front of the lake helps but a little more private space would be better than the driveway. Having said that, the lunch was of good quality (the octopus was very good). The gnocchi with clams are as excellent as the amatriciana ones. The fried potatoes are good and light, the frying is good but perhaps slightly salty. The wine chosen was Vermentino Sardo, excellent quality, not very fruity. The desserts are good, especially the apple with Chantilly cream. 1 Ichnusa beer, 2 Nepi water (1 liter bottles) and 1 Fanta glass bottle. Not enough coffee, very hard breadsticks and the bread not up to par as it was slightly stale. Empathetic staff, but slow and inattentive as they forget to bring the grilled vegetables which however were about to be put on the bill. Upon reporting by the writer they were then reduced. The final cost of €155.00 shows prices which in my opinion are too high and which therefore should also include place settings (among other things with paper tablecloths). Overall my rating is decent but the lack of display of menus and prices that I have seen in other locations (for example in Caprarola) leaves me perplexed.

The place deserves it but as far as the food is concerned, in my opinion everything needs to be reorganized a bit, dishes included in the menu which were not available at the time of the order, wine too little choice, the waiter pleasant and very kind

Ups and downs. Locale: the 5 stars given to Ambiente. The outdoor garden is really beautiful and overlooks the lake, the inside of the place is also very welcoming. Service: I want to believe that last night they found themselves under with the staff (3 people with all the outside tables full), because otherwise they would have to give 2. Despite being nice and able to put customers at ease, the three guys who were walking around among the tables they struggled to keep up with everything, going slowly or getting orders wrong. 25 minutes before ordering even just a drink, a side dish delivered together with the first starter, the aforementioned side dish (baked potatoes) then brought again together with the tagliatelle, all of which arrived cold (tagliata and potatoes). We're not there at all. Food: here they shine. The minus star is only due to the fact that some dishes (tagliata and potatoes) arrived cold. But guys; excellent fried fish balls, fried anchovies that... wow! I would have had 4 plates of those alone! The steak, even though it was cold, was really good. Wine list: very wide choice between whites, rosés and reds. Considering that they offer both land and sea dishes you will always have a good combination. Prices: the two of us spent around 100 euros (50 each). But it's very honest if you add three fish-based starters, two second courses (whitefish and black angus), two side dishes and a good bottle of wine. The view/location is also worth it. Conclusion: honestly I will return, perhaps in a different period, but they certainly deserve at least another visit.
