This year, 2026, marks 50 years since I first ate at Giardino. Back then, I was on holiday on the island with my parents. Since then, my family and I have been regulars and have NEVER been disappointed. If you want a tip for the best food on the island, this is the place to go. Reservations are recommended during peak season.

Excellent food quality and good professional service in a nice garden out side Porto Azzurro. Off season it's good to have a place on their covered terrace.

Top-notch Italian dishes. Pasta is fantastic, and they also have premium pizza—but go for the fish dishes instead. They serve incredibly fast by German standards, so take your time with your meal. Local Italians come and go here. 😅

19/12/2025: I ate really well (and this is coming from someone who doesn't like fish). The location by the sea is truly well-kept and beautiful. The owner is a lovely person.
19/12/2025: We found it by chance and arrived unannounced, very late, like 2:30 PM in December. We were welcomed like family, the food was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The place is right on the beach; in winter, you can get to the beach within 100 meters and then walk along a wooden walkway. Outside, there's a marquee overlooking the sea where they've set up deckchairs with blankets, perfect for an aperitif outdoors. A truly classy touch. Giuseppe, the owner, is extremely kind and friendly.
