Pranzo ottimo .. pasta alla gricia.. fatta in casa... eccezionale. Zuppa di cavolo nero molto buona. Buono anche il resto. Gentilissima la cameriera. Posto accogliente.

Today we were guests for lunch at this farmhouse.
We ate good natural things with ancient flavours, in a very welcoming atmosphere and served by a very kind landlady.
In the open Sabina countryside, with a breathtaking view of the valley below, surrounded by olive trees and peaceful animals that live there, between the chirping and the breeze of an announced spring, we ordered
an appetizer, a generous first course of homemade fettuccine and a very tasty black cabbage soup, a second course of meat, three side dishes, 2 liters of water, 1 dessert, two quarts of white and red wine, two coffees, we spent 23.50/person.
I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning to the Black Mulberry soon

Siamo stati Oggi ospiti a pranzo presso questo agriturismo.
Abbiamo mangiato cose buone naturali e dai sapori antichi, in un'atmosfera molto accogliente e serviti da una gentilissima padrona di casa.
In aperta campagna Sabina, con un panorama mozzafiato sulla Vallata sottostante, circondati da piante di ulivo e da animali Pacifici che vivono lì, tra il cinguettio e il venticello di un annunciato primavera, abbiamo ordinato
un antipasto, un primo abbondante di fettuccine fatte in casa ed una zuppa al cavolo nero gustosissima, un secondo di carne tre contorni, 2 lt d' acqua, 1 dolce, due quarti di vino bianco e rosso, due caffè, abbiamo speso 23,50 /persona.
Lo consiglio vivamente e sicuramente torneremo presto il gelso nero

In addition to being a farmhouse with swimming pool, located near Farfa and its abbey, Il Gelso Nero is a restaurant. Discovered by chance many years ago. The restaurant was immediately a wonderful discovery, with excellent quality local ingredients. We have been there many times to eat and it has never disappointed us. Different types of homemade pasta and rich and good appetizers. The main dish is the suckling pig they produce, baked in the porchettato oven. Super kind and always available. We also celebrated several communion and eighteenth events. Definitely a nice quiet place, where you can spend a nice day 40 minutes from Rome, surrounded by greenery.

I always gladly return to the black mulberry. Even just for a Sunday trip to Sabina. Every time I find excellent, genuine and homemade food. The location near Farfa is perfect.
