Il Gelso Nero Agriturismo In Castelnuovo di farfa

I always gladly return to the black mulberry. Even just for a Sunday trip to Sabina. Every time I find excellent, genuine and homemade food. The location near Farfa is perfect.

Cibo eccellente e personale super cordiale. È un bellissimo agriturismo immerso nel verde. Siamo stati benissimo e sicuramente torneremo. Menzione speciale per i dolci: tozzetti strepitosi!

Friendly staff, well-prepared dishes, enchanting location, perfect for relaxing in the greenery I haven't stayed, so I don't know the rooms, but if that matters to me....

We stayed at Gelso Nero one night, due to an event in the area and from now on it will be our point of reference! The room was spacious and with all the necessary comforts, plus every time we went out we found ourselves faced with a stunning view! The next morning we had breakfast outdoors, we felt pampered by all the things they brought us ☺️ We will definitely be back for lunch soon!

Found by chance after a visit to the Farfa Abbey: I never wanted to leave! Excellent dishes from starters to desserts. Almost everything produced by them. The farmhouse is beautiful, immersed in the Sabine countryside, among other things the family history is special. The rooms display photos of grandparents and great-grandparents, old sharecroppers. Stupendous!

Restaurant immersed in the greenery of Sabina, a beautiful and well-kept place. We ate really well, fixed menu at 35 euros, plentiful and good dishes. Friendly and helpful staff.

Siamo molto soddisfatti perché finalmente abbiamo trovato un agriturismo vero. Aprono solo sabato e domenica. Il menu è preparato con molti prodotti dell'azienda agricola: farina e uova per la pasta e la focaccia, carne, verdure e ovviamente olio. Abbiamo mangiato nella sala interna che prima era la stalla. Il menù fisso a 35 euro ci ha portato un ricco antipasto con i salumi prodotti da loro, due assaggi di primi, maialino e patate, crostata e caffè. La qualità è ottima. Atmosfera rilassata durante il pranzo poi visita agli animali della fattoria. Una menzione speciale va ai due border collie: Emma ci ha preso il cuore!
