I've been frequenting Il Gelato Aresu since it opened over twenty years ago on Corso Vittorio Emanuele and after it moved to Via Monti. It's still the best gelato in Cagliari. Both classic and original flavors are made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Gelato shop with a wide selection of products (from classic cones and cups to cookies and sticks). We tried two fruit flavors (all very appealing) and a fiordilatte cookie, both excellent. You could taste the natural flavor of the fruit. We'll be back!

Every time I pick up my tests at a nearby lab, a trip to the Aresu ice cream shop is a must. Last week I had a tropical fruit and caramel ice cream with sprinkles... amazing to say the least... an unusual but perfect combination... the flavors were so good they didn't mix together... a delight! 💥

Very good, high-quality ice cream. I tried the Celery, Apple, and Ginger flavor, which was truly excellent and a must-try! The staff was very friendly.
