We love Giovanni and have been coming here for years. His food is sensational. He can be grumpy sometimes but go with the flow. He's an incredibly kind person and loves people who love food. If you're coming expecting grand service and deep attention, you may be disappointed - depending on the mood of the day. But if you want an authentic Italian dining experience, with wonderful food, made and served with love, by an terrific man, this is your place. I've been here 50 times, never left unhappy. Quite the contrary.

Went the night before. Came back the next night at 6:50. Owner said he would be ready to open at 7pm.
We waited in the outer dining area until 7:30. He showed no interest to accommodate us. Another couple came directly after us; sat themselves as I believe they were locals. After waiting 40 minutes without any welcome, we left for another restaurant down the street.
Never felt so unwelcomed and neglected. Very poor business etiquette.

We discovered the restaurant by chance while driving past. It was actually siesta at 3:45 p.m. and, as everyone knows, everything was closed. Owner welcomed us despite siesta and even showed us his kitchen since we don't speak Italian and didn't understand what he offered us.
Delicious! Very delicious! Excellent!
We'll stay here for another week and will definitely stop by again 😋😁👋

Siamo andati in questo ristorante quasi per caso ed è stata una bellissima scoperta. Ristorante imperdibile per chi ama la buona cucina, ben presentata e a prezzi più che onesti. L’accoglienza cordiale del titolare tutto fare , come fossimo vecchi amici, è un valore aggiunto. È uno di quei posti in cui si torna sicuramente più che volentieri.

We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening for dinner, everything was perfect starting from the starters, I have never seen such an assortment of courses.
All good, like the first course spaghetti with clams, each dish was at least 300 grams of spaghetti and full of clams, like the second course a plentiful and very fresh mixed fry all perfect and the bill for what we ate was low what more do you want? We will definitely be back. P.S. the owner does everything. At first glance he seems like a gruff person but it's just his character, in reality he is one of the most humble and honest people you can find in this sector.

Recommended by several local people, luckily we had the B&B opposite,
you don't just go here for lunch/dinner, you go here to admire a man of almost 80 years old managing to run a typical restaurant alone (with a helper) that offers very fresh dishes (depending on market availability) prepared in a genuine, a bit like taking a dive into the past and going to eat with your grandparents. Mr Giovanni is certainly a special person so the negative reviews may make sense but I advise you: 1. to try to book and 2. go first with your heart and then with your appetite. For us it was an exciting evening as well as having eaten very well and having found a phenomenal quality/quantity/price ratio. I hope to return as soon as possible.

The manager is one of a kind, very reserved, reliable and you must necessarily follow him and support him. Endless appetizer that ranges from the mountains to the sea. Abundant first courses and tasty, well-cooked second courses. It is recommended to all those who want to eat well and not pay a lot.
