We had lunch at Ugo's restaurant, where the staff were incredibly friendly and the chef was exceptionally experienced. The dishes were exquisite, and highly recommended!

Wonderful experience!!! Refined menu and combinations with Km0 ingredients. Each course is a triumph of truffle flavor. The chocolate dessert is also excellent! Impeccable service. The owners are very helpful and attentive Highly recommended!!

Great food, a great dining experience

A very cozy restaurant with super friendly, attentive, but not intrusive service. The food was very good. There's no wine list; you choose from the shelves surrounding the room. We were a bit overwhelmed by the large selection and relied on the staff's recommendation...we were not disappointed. All in all, a wonderful evening...highly recommended!

1 superb Italian gourmet restaurant, nothing to complain about, excellent truffle menu, attentive service without being burdensome. 1 kitsch decoration with 1 impressive collection of chickens. 1 very beautiful wine and champagne cellar.

Abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno del mio compagno al Gallo della Checca perché sapevamo di non sbagliare. Per distacco il miglior ristorante dove abbiamo mai mangiato! piatti con sapori particolari che si incontrano, con impiattamento curato. Tutti accompagnati da vini eccezionali. Ingredienti di massima qualità e a km 0, impeccabile servizio e gentilezza in sala di Renata, e in cucina dello Chef Ugo, il responsabile di questa cucina a dir poco sublime. La sala è caratterizzata da un arredamento molto elegante con luci soffuse al punto giusto. C’è proprio aria di casa! Insomma, un’esperienza estremamente consigliata a tutti. I organised a birthday lunch for my darling with our best friends in this excellent restaurant half-hidden in the country. It was our second visit and I am sure there will be more to come. It is sensational for the location, the atmosphere, the tranquillity, the cuisine, the wines, the welcome and the source of its uniqueness: the truffles. These precious tubers are grown in their fields, as are all other vegetable products. Additionally, all that arrives on the table is exclusive in terms of quality. The menu is based on truffles, of course, but if you aren't a fan truffles can be omitted from your plate. One of our friends said she disliked even the thought of their aroma. Well, she ate truffles in more than one course and at the end of the meal she confessed that she had loved them. The secret is the ability of Ugo Vairo, the chef, to transform every ingredient in something unforgettably pleasant to the palate, something nobody else could do. He is a culinary magician. He is perfectly matched by Silvana who describes every single dish as a work of art and creates a familiar atmosphere with her warmth. Even if you are not keen on truffles, I recommend you try this restaurant. Mind you, the bill matches the quality, so expect it to be adequate to your enjoyment. You will not regret the experience.
