01/09/2025: The atmosphere is lovely, located at a beautiful crossroads, and a short walk toward the little church offers a beautiful view. They have plenty of tables outside, some covered, and some inside, which I haven't had a chance to evaluate. The service is sometimes nice, sometimes annoying—so annoying?! At the register, there was an inviting menu, but when it came time to order, it wasn't the current one; the options were rabbit or sausage (maybe Wednesdays are different?). The sausage and polenta were good, but after reading about stew with polenta on the menu, I was left craving it!
I ordered a slice of cake; it was very cheap, but I later discovered that this was because it was a supermarket-bought tart, so the price was reasonable.
PS: The above is my review, not taking into account that it's run by volunteers, to whom, of course, my respect and thanks are due.
03/08/2025: Lunch at this refuge is always a treat. Also, visit the meticulously curated museum. Be careful of the Queen of England; you must use "Her Majesty" in her presence.
Well done, well done, well done.
