Il Fornetto In Rodi garganico

While on vacation with my girlfriend in Rodi Garganico, we decided to stop at this pizzeria. As a true Campanian, I've always been skeptical of pizzas "outside the region" because, traveling around many parts of Italy, I've never found a pizza that came close to our region. Either very thinly sliced, or toasted. And yet I can say that last night I came home to this place. The pizza was well-leavened and light. I complimented the pizza chef (yes, we're talking about a girl) who I hope this pizzeria holds on to because for me it was like eating a pizza in Campania. Simply spectacular.

The only flaw is the steel oven which clashes a bit with the homely and rustic atmosphere of the place.

I went with my bulldog and was greeted with enthusiasm. Delicious pizza, top-notch dough, well-seasoned with quality ingredients, very reasonable prices, and the guys serving were delicious. Kudos to the young pizza chef, who is a cut above many of her male colleagues. Well done, guys, keep it up!

Good pizza. Smiling and attentive staff. I recommend booking. I gave the space a 4 because I think a few outdoor umbrellas would be nice.

This is Pizza! Fantastic pizza, very kind staff. The caciocavallo podoloco appetizer was also delicious. And at the end, to our great surprise, the pizza chef is actually a pizza chef. We beat the men 10-0. You might have to wait a bit, but it's totally worth it.

It's best to book. Everything is delicious, excellent quality ingredients. Thin, easy-to-digest pizza. The only downside is the wind.

Everything was delicious. The paposcia was generously stuffed and perfectly cooked. The caciocavallo podolico with dried peppers was delicious 😋! A calorie bomb that's definitely worth trying! The service staff were very kind and quick, even though the place was packed. The location is lovely because it's in the little square, so you can smell all sorts of aromas and see lots of lights. I recommend it! 😃
