Il Fornaretto In Napoli

We came across this shop by chance while walking around at random, and as soon as we saw some local grandmas entering to buy food we knew this place was a must-try, and we were absolutely right. The quality of all the baked food you will find here is insane. Also the guy that works there (I believe his name was Mariano) was lovely. We talked with him for a while and at the end he gifted us some crocchette di patate because he liked us 😂 The frittatine di pasta from this place are incredible, you must try them. We also had the parigina and some spinach pastry, all of them delicious. The prices are extremely cheap too, a really local shop not yet contaminated by tourism. Definitely a recommended place to buy some high-quality and freshly-made baked goods!

Spectacular both as food and as people.

It's a small shop, but they had risotto croquettes, potato croquettes, ham and cheese bread, and a variety of sweets, all of which were delicious! I gave up on the pasta omelet because it was too filling, but I want to try it next time. We had lunch while visiting Pompeii.
