Trattoria serving typical Livorno cuisine. In a very spartan environment where there isn't even a menu you can enjoy excellent traditional dishes. Obviously most of them are fish. The caciucco without bones was excellent but all the dishes we tried were very well prepared. Definitely recommended!

Esto fue recomendado por nuestro hotel como un gran lugar para disfrutar de la cocina de pescado local. Fue excepcional por los platos y la comida era deliciosa. Toma un diccionario o usa google translate ya que el personal no es bueno en las explicaciones en inglés de las comidas. ¡Pero arriesguese y sorprendase gratamente! Precios razonables y gran ambiente y bienvenida. Sin duda vale la pena un viaje para buscar, lleno de gente local disfrutando de una noche de fiesta. El calamar frito y el bacalao era fabuloso. El ravioli con scampi estaba delicioso y el postre era increíble!

Improvised Easter Monday lunch... never was a more appropriate choice! A Livorno-Livornese restaurant, simple, straightforward, hospitable, with traditional dishes that are eaten with a smile. Quality/price ratio among the best I've ever tried

Locale tipicamente da osteria con una discreta selezione di pietanze. Veloce e cortese il servizio, uniche note stonate il locale di piazza Roma poco riscaldato e i piatti leggermente freddi. Per il resto è sempre piacevole e gustoso il cibo offerto, senza tanti fronzoli e badando alla sostanza. Sicuramente più gradevole la location di via Goito.

06/08/2025: The quality and preparation of the various courses were excellent! You could see and taste the quality of the ingredients... As for the price, the portion sizes were modest; see the photo of the €45 raw fish, where we expected at least 2-3 other types of fish... As for the service, we felt a bit disorganized, but the staff was very kind and helpful and apologized several times... The seaside setting is beautiful, especially at sunset. The proximity of the tables is a bit too noticeable, making the atmosphere a bit chaotic...
05/08/2025: We had dinner at this elegant restaurant. Delicious food, a romantic atmosphere, and the highlight is the seafront view with a breathtaking sunset. Price in line with the location.

Ristorante L'Ancora

14/07/2025: I visited this restaurant overlooking the canals with my daughter. It's perhaps in the most charming spot in Livorno's Venice district, near the fish market and a short walk from the Fortezza Vecchia and the ferry terminal. Even though I visit Livorno often, I was curious to dine in this little corner of Livorno. The view is spectacular, with the sunset to the west toward the sea, and the interior toward the canals. Everything was lovely, but beyond the setting, it was the courtesy of the girls and the truly excellent food that made it my new go-to spot when I'm back in Livorno. Congratulations, keep up the good work, and thank you for the delightful evening spent with my Princess. A dad.
