Excellent restaurant, fresh fish, abundant starters, attentive staff, I would like to have the menu with the prices next time also because it is important to know the prices also with a speaking receipt for each course 😉

If you are looking for an authentic gastronomic experience in Torretta di Crucoli, the Fico d'India restaurant is an unmissable choice. Its location, just a few steps from the sea, offers a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The real highlight is the quality of the raw materials: the freshest fish, caught every day, and the ingredients enhance the flavors of the Calabrian territory in every dish. Added to this is an impeccable service and the professionalism of the staff, always attentive and prepared, ready to give you the best advice and make your experience even more enjoyable. No less important is the price where the quality-price ratio is excellent, allowing you to enjoy specialties prepared with care, without spending a fortune. Our example was: for the price of €60 we were able to enjoy 10 courses of seafood appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 fried food, 2 bottles of water, 1 can of Coke and 2 coffees. The only small flaw is the (legitimate) impossibility of banning dogs.

Local: having close proximity to the sea it should be valued differently. Service: friendliness and courtesy are the driving force of the business combined with many years of experience. Food: quality food, however a menu should be created, those who don't know the place are afraid of the costs and don't know what the place offers except when the dishes are brought to the table. Bill: The bill is staggering, very low compared to expectations. Reason why creating a menu even indicating only prices and courses (second amount and first amount) would push the customer to buy more. Overall excellent experience, absolutely worth trying!

Agriturismo Silipetto

23/12/2024: We ate several times at the Silipetto farmhouse. Every time we came back satisfied. The menu is based on a varied starter, two first courses of your choice and two second courses. Or if desired at the customer's request some alternative preferences. The appetizer was truly fabulous and complete. Pappardelle with porcini mushrooms and underwire macaroni with pork sauce. Followed by goat with potatoes and truly sublime cut of meat. All surrounded by a magnificent panorama between sea and hills which makes the whole thing a wonderful picture. The really nice and professional lady Roberta as well as the local cook made our lunch a magnificent experience. Congratulations to all the staff. We will definitely be back!!
17/11/2024: Agriturismo Silipetto. This was my favourite farm on my trip to Calabria. The owner Roberta is a great hostess, we felt like we were staying with friends! A great, quiet place with lots of culinary surprises. Self-made pasta, meat, vegetables... the food is organic and made with lots of love. A visit to this secluded place is definitely worthwhile! - It is essential to book a table in advance. Overnight stays are also in a very beautiful Tiny house possible. A place to relax and enjoy the delicacies of southern Italy.
