Il Faro In Villasimius

The reviews from 2018 and 2020 don’t do this place justice! We have enjoyed both the service and lunch menu. The staff is super kind and friendly!

We arrive in the throes of atavistic hunger on a crowded Saturday evening. Despite the lack of reservations, they get us a table and we eat some amazing pasta with clams. Grilled fish no less. Service was slow given the crowd but courteous and attentive. We'll be back.

Overall the food is not bad, perhaps the prices are a little too high compared to other restaurants. For example, I took the fried calamari which was a bit small, the portion was too oily and the price of 18 euros was excessive. The service is not very organized with the times of the dishes and they get lost with the number of tables.

We were on vacation for 7 days and we had dinner 3 nights with my wife and son in this beautiful restaurant, the attention from the waiters and the owner was excellent on every occasion and the best of all the food, the best pizzas we have ever eaten (without exaggeration) in our life (and we have traveled through a large part of Italy) quality ingredients, (we recommend Valentina) and the desserts are not far behind, the seadas and the lemon cake are exquisite, quiet and familiar atmosphere (we were able see how Spain won the Eurocup) without a doubt every time we return to Cagliari we will visit this place, thank you for everything.

My favorite restaurant: you have the opportunity to eat a delicious pizza or have lunch/dinner with excellent dishes (I recommend the fish ones) all very fresh and really good. The desserts are delicious: the house crème caramel is amazing! The staff is kind, friendly but above all they are professionals.

We had dinner at this restaurant frequented by both locals and tourists on a Tuesday afternoon in early July. At 9.30pm the place was full. Pizza and fried fish, house wine and dessert and amaro, all excellent (the salted caramel cheesecake is fabulous 😋) Attentive and kind staff.

The calamari fritti taste very good. Price is also not as expensive as everywhere else. Very nice and customer-oriented boss.

We got there by chance, but it was a very good choice! Delicious, fresh fish, plentiful and tasty dishes, fair value for money

We came here twice for pizza which were great. The second time I had fish which was cooked beautifully but the server did not tell me it was a massive dish that was way to much for one person, and as it is sold by the weight was very expensive which is not clear as the menu is only in Italian - cost 24euros. This was a shame as they were so friendly but I felt a bit taken advantage of. I would still recommend it but be careful ordering anything which says the 100gms
