Tutto bene, purtroppo non siamo stati fortunati perché il locale è diviso in 2 sale: un prefabbricato con 2 lampade riscaldanti e una sala carina. Sinceramente 4 stelle per la sala ed il coperto con tovaglioli di carta e sedie di plastica da giardino. Per il prezzo pagato non male il cibo , il personale gentile e disponibile ma rapporto prezzo e qualità, forse un po’ troppo, per i motivi sopra elencati. Il cibo

Excellent quality, generous portions, the fish was fresh and cooked well, the walnut breadsticks were good. The service was good overall, but the place didn't meet my tastes at all.
The prices were quite high, we spent €47 for 2 of us eating a dish each, 2 canned drinks, 2 coffees and a water.

I went to the "crotto" for an evening with friends.
The interior of the restaurant resembles a cabin, with wooden walls and a trussed ceiling. At the entrance to the kitchen there is a motto: "You always cook thinking of someone, otherwise you are just preparing food". The dining room staff was kind and professional in seating us and taking orders.
The menu contains many fish dishes but does not leave out local cuisine.
I asked for a steak of fassona with breaded artichokes and egg of two consistencies and a mixed grill of fish and vegetables.
Here is the first less positive note.
The fassona steak seemed more like a smoothie to me, with the consistency of a puree. When I tasted it, the taste seemed like wax. I couldn't get past the first two bites. It's a shame because the egg yolk cooked whole but still liquid in the center made a positive impression on me.
The barbecue was varied. A large slice of swordfish dominated two fillets, two prawns and a mixed skewer of vegetables and calamari. Among the vegetables were peppers, courgettes, a decorative salad leaf. I liked everything for how it was cooked.
Dessert: a base of meringue (Italian style?) with whipped cream, drops of salted caramel, fragments of marron glacé and boiled chestnuts. I liked this too.
At the end of the dinner, well before 10pm, the staff began to tidy up the tables, clean the counters, the windows and the bathroom. An activity that we interpreted as a not too veiled invitation to leave the place.
I found the bill not proportionate to what we ate when compared to what we paid for similar dishes in other places, also considering that about a fifth of the cost of the fassona was discounted from the total.
Final note: I didn't feel very well at the end of dinner. So much so that, if I hadn't found a place halfway home that very helpfully allowed me to use the services, the evening would have ended in a humiliating way.

MARVELOUS! We had a great time! Excellent quality food, quick service and very friendly and helpful waiters. It will definitely be a restaurant we will return to! If you want good food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the right place!

Six people had lunch today, all based on fish. The dishes are plentiful and carefully presented. A wine list with a good choice. The service was fast and attentive, the guy in the room was friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back!

The presentation is very beautiful, it really looks like a mountain cabin.
Got a starter: €18 for a potato and 5cm of cut octopus, very good, but..
I had the mixed fried dishes, a very fresh fish dish; shame about the frying being too greasy and not very crunchy.
2 glasses of wine €16, perhaps the bottle cost less.
€14 two desserts.
In the end €100 for two, excessive for what we tasted.
And since it was also too greasy, the fried food stayed with me all night.
It's not about the money, but expensive across the board.

Ho cenato con mia moglie come "ripiego" alla sagra del paese, troppo affollata: tutti i piatti erano squisiti e la presentazione altrettanto di alto livello. I due camerieri sono stati gentilissimi e soprattutto SVEGLI, ho notato che controllavano sistematicamente tutti i tavoli per essere sempre pronto a soddisfare le richieste degli ospiti. Ovviamente abbiamo ordinato i Rabattoni di Litta, ottimi, ma anche il menù di pesce aveva un aspetto veramente OK e tanto mi dà tanto...
Sicuramente non ci faremo sfuggire l'occasione di tornarci.
