Welcoming place with friendly, smiling staff. We usually eat fresh, well-cooked fish, but this evening we tried the meat dishes and the result was excellent. To start, a focaccia and artisanal breadsticks, followed by a tartare of Fassona beef (🔝) and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, along with a house wine, Barbera d'Asti di Vinchio vaglio. The bill was reasonable.

A truly lovely place; the name "chalet" is apt. The food is excellent, but it's a shame about the portion sizes and the outrageous prices.
