Excellent food, some dishes worth reviewing

We have just returned from the most wonderful week at this stunning property. Where to start with a review… The location is excellent and provides a great base for exploring the local area and accessing Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra. The surrounding scenery is stunning with great views from our apartment and the pool area. The sunsets were spectacular. The accommodation is to a high standard and although there isn’t an oven, my partner raved about the BBQ area and enjoyed standing there with a glass of wine and a super view of Casole d’Elsa. If you don’t want to cook or venture out, the adjoining restaurant is excellent. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome given the temperature. Quiet and efficient resulting in a great nights sleep despite the heat. The whole complex is spotless and the pool area (with a pool large enough to actually swim in!) was well equipped with good quality sun loungers, outdoor furniture and plenty of shade. We were made to feel extremely welcome, the owners recommended local restaurants we would never have found and were friendly but not intrusive. A truly magical place.

Beautiful setting with stunning views worthy of a painting. Such lovey place to unwind from hustle and bustle of city life. Great location for visit to Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Monteriggioni... and just a short walk from lovely town of Castle d'Elsa. I absolutely recommend this stunning property. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the cottages are quaint with breathtaking views and the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. I have celiac and they made an entire gluten free breakfast selection for me, on top of the lovely fresh fruits, farm fresh eggs and other normal breakfast selections. The pool is beautiful as well with views of the Tuscan hills. Additionally, I love that the old medieval town of Casole D’Elsa is just a 10 min. Walk from the room. This location is absolutely perfect. We did quick morning trips to nearby towns as well. Over all 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Just returned after spending six days with the family in this facility. There isn't much to say, for us I rate it 10, to Max and his staff thank you again for the wonderful experience that we will certainly do again, keep up the good work. Lara

I definitely recommend!!! An atmospheric place in sunny Tuscany, with a swimming pool and wonderful views. A very good base for exploring Tuscany. Next to it is a restaurant with delicious food. Thank you Maurizio for the good time we spent there.

This was one of the best places I have been for years. It is an amazing combination of authentic Toscany houses on unique spot with exceptional views and super friendly hosts. Service was exceptional from the first minute we came to the very moment we left. It was pure joy to have an evening glass of wine watching the sun going down behind the Toscany hills or having a morning coffee while being greeted with singing birds. We had an apartment for 4 people with 2 separate rooms and each having its own bathroom. The living room was combined with a small but effective kitchen (if you need to cook). The property also has a restaurant, so there is no need to worry about the food. If you want a change, you have 10 minutes walk to the center of the town with more dining options. Unfortunately the pool was still to cold to swim, but we did do some sunbathing. Parking is available directly by the house. The premises are also dog friendly! Highly recommended if you look at authenticity, charm, and cosiness. Thanks Murizio for being super host through our stay.
