Il Ciuchino In Sant'oreste

I went to this place because it was recommended to me by a friend who lived nearby. The place is pleasant, clean, the staff efficient and friendly. We had lunch with two portions of tripe as a starter, two portions of donkey gnocchi and 2 portions of tomato and basil ravioli. Unfortunately I was very very disappointed with the size of the portions. I'm not one of those who want a full plate, but the portions were truly ridiculous: Even if a portion of a tripe appetizer cannot be 4 tablespoons of tripe (7 euros) A portion of ravioli cannot be made up of only 3 (three) ravioli (12 euros) A portion of gnocchi cannot be 30 small gnocchi (10 euros). The portions we were served were to be considered half portions, certainly not comparable to what we paid. I repeat, I'm not the type who wants to see the dinner plate but I also don't like going, not to a gourmet restaurant, but to a farmhouse and finding myself eating samples served up in whole portions!!!

What can I say... this is already the fifth time we have come to eat at this farmhouse (and this already says it all), from the starter (abundant) to the dessert, all excellent.. EXCELLENT QUALITY meat.. and the tiramisu is exceptional.. excellent food and professional and courteous service.. keep it up like this

After the visit to Soratte we ate at this farmhouse. The food is as delicious as the house red wine. The staff were kind and attentive. Excellent value for money. The wonderful place with a natural terrace from which to visually explore the town of Sant'Oreste and the surrounding countryside.

A beautiful discovery, this farmhouse near the village of Sant'Oreste, immersed in the greenery of the mountains, offers typical but above all homemade cuisine. I'll start by saying that the staff was really very kind and polite from when we arrived to when we left. We started with a classic mixed starter, which also included some really good Roman tripe! For the first courses we chose tonnarelli with white wild boar ragù, really good and tasty with the pieces of meat you could see... which means home-made as it should be! However, the agnolotti with speck, radicchio and parmesan could have given more. The filling did not reveal the taste, it was too ground and was covered by the cream used to make the cream with parmesan. The sprinkling of paprika on the plate honestly had nothing to do with it For second I had a rabbit stuffed with sausage which was well done, tasty and cooked well! 69 euros including two glasses of wine. Recommended place, but shame on some details where more could be brought out!

The Agriturismo il Ciuchino is located in a truly enchanting location, surrounded by greenery and perfect for a relaxing day. The quality of the raw materials is indisputable: the ingredients are fresh and of excellent origin, which makes the dishes truly tasty. However, the organization leaves something to be desired. The Florentine, requested rare, arrived well cooked, compromising the experience of a dish that could have been exceptional. Even the two cuts ordered were not cooked as requested, highlighting a certain carelessness in the management of orders. Overall, the place is worth a visit for the beauty of the location and the quality of the ingredients, but there is certainly room for improvement in terms of organization and attention to detail in the kitchen.

My exploration of Italian restaurants continues, today I am in a real farmhouse and everything you will eat comes from their countryside... So I recommend their abundant, tasty carbonara... exquisite. Next time I will taste their meats, excellent cuts and expertly prepared by chef Luca who, together with the rest of the staff, welcome you like at home.... typical environment of a farmhouse but with attention to the quality of the product.... I will be back.... You must try their decomposed tiramisu you will lick your chops.... There is plenty of safe space for your children to play and a terrace with a breathtaking view... Go with serenity and you will be satisfied.😉

Tried it today for the first time with a group of friends. Cozy location. Great food. In particular, a pacchero with meat sauce baked in the oven with mozzarella, and roast rabbit. Satisfying portions. Smiling and courteous staff. Absolutely honest price. We had a very good time. Definitely coming back.

It was recommended by friends, from what I said I thought it was better. Very limited classic appetizers and first courses, for example 4 agnolotti per portion. The good seconds. The girls are very professional and helpful. I don't think I'll go back
