Exceptional pizza. Crispy and tasty cooked in a wood oven with attention and skill. I haven't had pizza like this in a long time. The environment is welcoming and simple. But you go there for the pizza, not for the decor!!!

Excellent! Excellent! I am here in Italy as my daughter is very very sick after a stroke on holiday , I came straight from England to be by her side . I’ve not eaten properly these last 3 days since being here and as she is talking and moving I am less stressed and worried . The Italian people have been very kind and helpful to me and I finally had an appetite today so I thought I’d try Cavallino d’oro for a meal . I was not disappointed, I had a sausage mozzarella and tomato pizza and a bowl of chilli tomato pasta 🍝 and WOW 😮 what a meal and I ate the lot with three grande Heineken. It’s a warm family restaurant and even though there’s a language barrier we worked it out . If you want a great meal in a warm environment with no rush and just relax then come here 10/10 highly recommended the food was amazing with great service

We arrived right at the end of the meal and they were kind enough to take care of us. A pizza with fresh ingredients, delicious. One of the oldest pizzerias in the area. The pizza is one of the best in all of Naples, not to mention the croquettes which are their flagship. Modest prices and super hospitality. I went with my daughter 3 days ago.

14/01/2025: Very welcoming place and trained staff
12/01/2025: Used on HIS tour. The meal consisted of salad, margherita, and sweets (fried thin dough with sour cream inside.It was heavy) I ate it. Margherita is a simple dish with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil, and it's delicious, but it's a big portion! The second half was tough. There's no meat, so the food is a bit lonely. Maybe it's because the trip was in January. By the way, I also used this sandwich on the second day. A simple dish with just bread, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. It's simple and not bad, but I don't think it's good enough for me to like it. When you come to Naples, there are sure to be other delicious restaurants. We recommend that.

16/12/2024: Uhriges (etwas kleines) Lokal, sehr gute Pizzas, Starters/Beilagen und immer wieder wechselde Gerichte (Stefano ist gerne innovativ) man spricht auch Deutsch. Der Pizzateig ist für mich (bin in Neapel aufgewachsen) einfach top in Vergleich zu den den besten Pizzerias in Neapel und Italiens. Sehr gutes Leistung/Preis Verhältnis. Absolut zu empfehlen.
08/12/2024: Ottima pizzeria, assolutamente consigliata. La prima piacevole sorpresa è stata il menù, solo pizze e saltimbocca, con prezzi modici. La seconda e più importante sorpresa è stata la pizza, lievitata benissimo, leggerissima e con abbondanza di ingredienti. Infine, personale gentilissimo a cui sono andati i nostri complimenti. Ci ritornerò e la consiglierò!
