A lousy welcome from the hotel staff, a soundproof room in a characterless annex, but then, as consolation, a good pizza in the restaurant and extremely friendly staff at breakfast.

My family and I spent an evening at Il Castello in Petralia Sottana. Luca and his family welcomed us with warmth and kindness, making us feel right at home. The dinner that night was incredible, and one we will always remember. I look forward to returning and discovering more of the town.

19/11/2025: Always top-rated for rotisserie. The arancini (both meat and butter) are almost unmatched. The only downside is the space, which is a bit cramped, and parking is a bit difficult to find.
