Really nice and authentic place. Everything we took was very good. There is a huge fireplace in the middle that adds up to the atmosphere. I’d definitely not recommend it for vegetarians tho.

Characteristic place feels like eating at home. The large fireplace in the middle of the room is very beautiful. The menu is complete and includes only meat dishes. We tasted several dishes and found them good and of the right quantity. To underline the friendly, helpful and fast service. Very kind to meet the needs of a celiac person by providing gluten-free pasta and bread. The bill is honest.

Sunday lunch with the family, despite the high number of guests the service was perfect, not to mention the truly fantastic food, traditional Tuscan dishes cooked in a sublime way. Our request for a vegetarian menu was also perfectly fulfilled. What can I say, we will definitely be back soon.

Cucina tradizionale e casalinga ottima. Ambiente caratteristico, personale accogliente e gentile, prezzi onesti. Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi, tagliatelle, ravioli e zuppe: tutto squisito.

I had the pleasure of having lunch several times at the Il Castagno da Nichi restaurant and I was always impressed by the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is located in a picturesque location, immersed in the Tuscan scrub. The interior is rustic and welcoming, with exposed beams and wooden furnishings. The menu offers a vast selection of typical Tuscan dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every time I set foot at Castagno da Nichi it's like coming home. The familiar and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the quality of the food, always excites me.

Rustic Trattoria. Personally, I love eating in old trattorias, taverns and farmhouses where you can still find regional dishes cooked according to Italian tradition. I ate well for the price and will definitely return.

Ristorante con camino e quadri con scene di caccia. I piatti che ho ordinato sono risultati buoni. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto misto, ravioli al sugo, cinghiale, fagioli con funghi, dolce.

29/12/2024: We chose this small restaurant based on feeling, we liked the idea of ​​a cozy environment for a Sunday lunch and our expectations were not disappointed: the place is very particular, there is an intense passion for music and conviviality, confirmed by the presence of the two owners who entertained us while waiting for the dishes, having pleasant conversations on these topics. We wanted to try fish dishes that fully satisfied us. I highly recommend the cremolato risotto, a poem of taste and softness! The very honest bill concluded the whole experience positively, which we will gladly repeat at the first opportunity to return. Well done guys, keep it up!
29/12/2024: Abbiamo scelto questo piccolo ristorantino a sentimento, ci piaceva l'idea di un ambiente raccolto per un pranzo domenicale e le nostre aspettative non sono state disattese: il locale è molto particolare, si respira una passione intensa per la musica e la convivialità, confermata dalla presenza dei due titolari che ci hanno intrattenuto nell'attesa dei piatti conversando piacevolmente su questi temi. Abbiamo voluto assaggiare piatti di pesce che ci hanno soddisfatti appieno. Consiglio vivamente il risotto cremolato, una poesia di gusto e morbidezza! Il conto molto onesto ha concluso positivamente tutta l'esperienza, che ripeteremo volentieri alla prima occasione di ritorno. Bravi ragazzi, continuate così!

26/01/2025: Un posto in cui si mangia piacevolmente Locale piccolo, pulito e accogliente, Bagni puliti, Gestori veloci, gentili e non invadenti, Un menù semplice e con poche portate, Primi : tagliatelle alla credenza molto buoni, il Filetto di carne saporita e morbida, Contorni : ottime le verdure saltate, Dolci : tutti fatti in casa, trovata molto buona la torta con cioccolato e pere 😘 Prezzo :. molto onesto Grazie, torneremo !
23/12/2024: We ate very well, the food was truly exceptional and plentiful. The service was excellent, the waitresses were very kind and helpful. We also didn't have to wait an eternity between one course and another. Finally, I think the price was fair. I highly recommend!!
