Yesterday, October 19, we went to this quaint restaurant for lunch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff very kind and professional. The homemade pasta is sublime, as are the desserts, even the homemade ones. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a day surrounded by chestnut trees and to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of yesteryear, featuring all kinds of game. We'll definitely be back.

It's the perfect place to eat game, mushrooms, and more. Among the first courses, I recommend the amberjack pasta made with chestnut flour and seasoned with your choice of sauce. I chose mushrooms, which was very good. A second course presented in an original way is the grilled wild boar and pork skewer. Try it.
The location is obviously rustic, surrounded by greenery, but I found the walls covered with the heads of stuffed wild boar, deer, and pheasants that sacrificed themselves to grace the tables to be somewhat questionable.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are definitely fair.

In a charming setting immersed in the Maremma, not far from the center of Sassetta, a small village 30 minutes from the sea, we ate typical Tuscan food.
We had a small misunderstanding with a waitress.
But the food was truly excellent and carefully prepared.
An absolute must-do experience!
