Il Capriccio In

Pizzeria Il Capriccio di Diamante is located right in the center of Diamante. It doesn't have its own parking lot, so you have to leave your car on the street, and finding a spot can sometimes be a bit tricky depending on the time of year. That said, the pizza was truly special, excellent and soft, definitely the best in Diamante. The only downside was the wait time, as we waited over 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We were returning from our vacation and decided to stop in Diamante for dinner before heading home. Not being local, we relied on online reviews, and we weren't wrong. A new place with friendly staff: it was around 9 pm with both dining rooms full, but they still found us a seat. Once we were at our table, we waited a bit until the very kind girl at the counter (the youngest, I think), seeing our need to be quick to avoid leaving too late, took care of taking our order for her colleague who was busy in the other dining room, advising us to choose from the sandwiches to save the wait. We still had a 30-minute wait, but considering they were also offering takeout, it was acceptable. The Panuzzo was delicious, soft, and above all, very filling! At the end, the girl asked us if we were within the time limit, and we thank her for her willingness to help. ❤️ Recommended

I wanted to say that I'm a tourist from Lake Maggiore. Varese (a former soccer player) was recommended to me by many locals. It's the only one in Calabria, and I think even nationwide. An excellence and pride of Italian cuisine, but especially the province of Cosenza should be proud to have a restaurateur like Nicola Marra. He's serious, precise, professional, and highly knowledgeable, taking care of every tiny detail. He makes all his customers feel at ease, along with his knowledgeable and excellent staff. I ate the best pizza of my life and I think I'll gladly return because I saw the excellent selection of high-quality ingredients for both the pizza and the sandwiches, along with an excellent selection of craft beers and a wide selection of excellent and carefully selected Calabrian wines. The best pizza I've had in Calabria. Very polite staff. Quiet atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Pub, pizzeria, and chip shop. The pizza is excellent, as are the fried foods. Wide selection of beers, fast service. Recommended!

The place is located in a nice part of the city, but the service is too slow, with more than 2 hours of waiting both for a table and to be served.
