Great place, good food. Linguine with pistachio and clam pesto, abundant and very creamy, a few too many broken shells but within limits. Fresh and well fried calamari. Fair and average price. Promoted and recommended restaurant.

Wow, you can't believe it guys, I assure you that once in your life you have to come and have a culinary tasting at the red caper, tonight appetizer, lobster linguine and amberjack stew that will be scary.

The best pasta I've ever eaten!😍 We ate ravioli and pasta with pistachios, both were brilliant and worth trying. I recommend visiting this place.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Red Caper last week. Mouth-watering like Sundays at your mother's house. Here they really cook the fish. We will return to Pizzo for you too.

Here we are truly faced with an exceptional restaurant. The menu presented focuses mainly on fish: the swordfish rolls and the mixed grilled fish are delicious. The products served are very fresh and prepared by a chef of the highest level. If we consider the quality of the dishes presented we must recognize that the prices are very balanced. It is a restaurant where you return often and willingly.

09/11/2024: As someone mentioned earlier on the forum... I don't understand the reviews for this place. Yo one of the best cuisines in Tropea, great atmosphere, delicious food and great service. Very nice owner who welcomes guests with a smile :)
22/10/2024: Had to wait 15-20 mins, but it was worth it! The gnocchi with nduja was filling & tasty. The fish platter was excellent too. Thanks, Roy

26/01/2025: Siamo capitati per caso in questa trattoria. Devo dire che siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità del cibo locale e dalla qualità della cucina, inoltre un’altra nota a favore del locale è la cordialità sia del titolare che del personale. Credo che ci ritorneremo molto volentieri. Consigliatissimo!
