Welcoming, the owner is friendly and the food tastes good, but the portions are a bit small. One downside is that the owner talks too much; If someone wants to spend an intimate evening, I find that intrusive. I wouldn't come back.

Typical dishes as good as ever: taste authentic pasta alla gricia! And what about the artisanal panna cotta....recommended.

Giacomo is the king of hospitality. Sympathy and courtesy are at home at Canaletto and the quality of the ingredients is impeccable. Here we ate the best mussel sauté ever, in addition to the delicious traditional dishes, cooked divinely and with passion. We will definitely be back!

Point! He won everything! Food, wine... even the water was good 😊... you go back in time and back there he was there to welcome me with open arms with his sky blue eyes and his silver hair... Giacomo cooks alone and you can smell it inside entrance of his inn... just for the way he treated me I would give him the firmament because 5 stars are few... THANK YOU Giacomo

After reading some reviews, we came to this restaurant, Mr. Giacomo is really nice and, we want to talk about his dishes..... Things almost impossible to describe, a mussel soute worth 1000 and one night, EXCELLENT spaghetti with clams... My daughter concluded the meal with a very fresh panna cotta indescribable for its goodness and freshness... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, we will return as soon as possible!!!!

04/02/2025: The atmosphere is nice, and all the employees are friendly and kind. The food is also very delicious. I go to this store every time I go to Rome and I highly recommend it! !
02/02/2025: This restaurant was very near our hotel, but we continually walked by it four days in a row without stopping. We finally tried them out and we were simply wowed by the experience. We ate there our final three nights in Rome. Excellent service by a sincerely service minded staff. Excellent food and very reasonable prices! We think it is a place that many locals visit. Any way, when we go back to Rome, we will stay near L’ORSO 80 and will continue to go to our new “Go To” restaurant.

05/01/2025: Absolute insider tip for Tivoli!! The place with the best price-performance ratio in the city and at the same time with a unique panoramic view of the famous waterfall. The Flo’s Café (now Prodip) was our go-to place in the afternoon to try delicious coffee, tea and typical pastries from the region. The quality and taste were sensationally good and the bill blew us away. As if inflation never existed. All is really well with the world here. Insider tip: be sure to try the Torta della nonna - the tastiest of our lives! Perhaps the best ambience in the city thanks to the great view, but there's no extra charge for that. When we are back in Tivoli we will definitely come back! Absolute recommendation and more than deserved 5 stars.
04/12/2024: I celebrated my daughter's birthday. Private room, welcoming environment and owner. Beautiful view of the Sibilla, excellent food... Fully satisfied.
