Pasta e Porcini, Tagliata e Porcini - both very tasty and worth the price. Please change the white house wine - it doesn't taste good (too "thin", strange aftertaste) the red house wine is fine. I have no idea what it was that cold evening, but there was a damp/musty smell in the dining room.

I returned to have lunch in Carovigno after an absence of several years, after sunburn and a general quality descent. But here I found excellent, fast service, lots of nice starters, 2 first courses and a good second course of meat. Maybe I would have been happier if they had also brought some typical fried breasts, the famous panzerottini of San Vito. But in any case, both I and my friends were happy. The honest account. Parto dal presupposto che in Puglia si mangi bene ovunque, ma questo posto aveva un qualche cosa in più. situato in centro a Carovigno,un pochino decentrato dall'arteria principale. Ci è stato consigliato da una signora del portoci siamo andati e ci siamo trovati più che bene.Personale gentilissimo e cibo squisito con un prezzo secondo noi che arriviamo da una regione dove i prezzi sono il doppio in tutto, ci siamo meravigliati. Antipasto della casa con assaggi di mare e terra, portate infinite, il tavolo era pieno di piatti e il personale addetto alla portate continuava portarne anche se il tavolo era grande lo spazio era ridotto al minimo(consiglio un antipasto della casa in due). Primo piatto orecchiette alle cime di rapa super abbondante, consigliamo di aspettare a ordinare il secondo perché dopo l'antipasto e il primo difficilmente si ordina altro se non un dolcetto. Tutto ottimo veramente e se ricapitiamo da quelle parti ritorneremo a lasciare la nostra impronta in questo ristorante lasciano i più blasonati a chi non vuole assaggiare queste prelibatezze
