We venture into the center of Carovigno during a festive week, unfortunately surrounded by incredible cacophony. Fortunately, we dine at Caminetto, which offers simple, homemade, yet tasty dishes. The atmosphere is simple yet quiet, with good service. I was able to relax and enjoy the evening away from the chaos. I will definitely be back.

The cuisine is definitely the heart of the place: homemade, generous dishes, faithful to Apulian tradition: orecchiette with turnip tops, tagliolini with scampi, a house antipasto with over 15 courses, a large fried fish platter, snails, mixed roast meats, and much more. Prices are more than fair, generally between €20 and €30 per person, with appetizers around €14 and seafood/meat main courses between €9 and €11.
