If you are in a hurry, perhaps it is not the most suitable place, but if you want to taste one of the best pizzas - or perhaps the best - in Macerata, "Il Buontempone" will repay you for the wait. Il menù offre una vasta scelta di pizze, sia bianche che rosse, con tantissime varianti di ingredienti per soddisfare ogni palato. Da provare assolutamente gli impasti speciali: carbone, marmo e canapa, che donano alle pizze un tocco originale e inconfondibile. Ottima anche la selezione di birre, sia in bottiglia che alla spina. Vi consiglio di accompagnare la vostra pizza con una birra blanche: fresca, leggera e perfetta per esaltare i sapori. È vero che qualche recensione sottolinea tempi di attesa un po’ lunghi, ma c’è da considerare che si tratta di una gestione familiare, con la moglie in cucina e il marito in sala. La cucina è piccola, ma la passione che mettono nel loro lavoro si riflette nella qualità del cibo. Fabrizio wants to be unpleasant but can't. His wife Gigliola is the backbone of the place and makes the best pizza in Macerata, or rather in Italy (correction dictated live by Maurizio). If you wait ten minutes more it's for a truly excellent pizza.

Family-run place, old-time style. This place is not suitable for those who are in a hurry and cannot distinguish industrial food from genuine products. Not suitable for those who are more interested in image than substance. Know that eating a pizza and a dessert easily takes 2 hours. Unfortunately there are only two of them, the lady in the kitchen and her husband serving. However, the refinement of the ingredients and the variety of homemade desserts leave the palate satisfied and the digestion light. You can really feel the love for well-made things, where the owner's ultimate goal is to leave the customer satisfied rather than the salary. Prices are also low for the quality. The service is excellent, but you have to understand that there is only one person to serve all the customers, you have to relax and not be in a hurry.
