The best Roman restaurant I've ever eaten at. EVERYTHING was delicious, from the appetizers to the mascarpone for dessert. The service was impeccable. As they say here, "if everything were ready, you'd be at a rotisserie," so enjoy the (short) wait, which only increases your desire for the AMAZING dishes they'll bring you. The prices are more than fair for the quality they bring to the table and the wonderful service, with a constant smile and a friendly attitude that make everything even more enjoyable. Thank you!!

Variety of dishes. Fresh ingredients. Portions are just the right size, and the first courses are generous. Dishes are cooked to order, so there's a wait. Reservations are essential because the restaurant has limited seating and is very popular.

Buongusto always confirms itself as a guarantee of goodness and genuine Roman gastronomic tradition. Our favorite spring dishes are those dedicated to the "King Artichoke" and we usually try them all: alla romana, alla giudia, fried. What can I say? They are spectacular. The menu also includes mozzarella in carrozza and supplì cacio e pepe, sublime. The off-menu items for yesterday's dinner were: fried courgette flower with mozzarella and anchovy... a delight! As a first course we tasted pappardelle with cream of asparagus and flakes of pecorino. It is served with guanciale but being a vegetarian I didn't add it. Another really good dish is fried cod accompanied with sautéed herbs. All delicious, thanks Nella and her team!

Pleasant surprise to discover a corner of Rome in Ravenna for me as I am a Roman away. Dishes that are sometimes difficult to find even in the capital. Fresh products and direct supply for typical ones. Exquisite people with whom it was easy to establish a cordial relationship and exchange impressions, memories and opinions. I would add that the place normally closed for lunch was opened for us who were a small group thanks to the availability of the management. So thanks and see you next time.

The only negative note was the excessive smell of fried food in the room. For the rest everything is ok.

Polite and friendly staff. Nice environment and excellent food. I ate better Romano here than in Rome. Highly recommended❤️

05/07/2025: We have traveled to Northern Italy for the past 3 years (2023,24 & 25). Syrene was one of the best restaurants that we have ever been to in any country. The staff, the food and the setting were superb. Paulo was the waiter that usually served us. We traveled to Italy again this but it is with sadness that we see Syrene has closed. We do hope that it opens again because it is a special place. John Dunne (Ireland).
