Location carina con tavoli all'aperto e al chiuso divisi su di piani. Personale gentile e servizio veloce. Piatti davvero abbondanti ed eccezionali, buonissimi. Carne buona e cotta a dovere. Vi consiglio i Rosti.

Locale tipico, staff gentile e professionale, i piatti sono porzioni extra grandi, sicuramente non esci con la fame ! I prodotti preparati al momento prediligono gli ingredienti della zona , come i formaggi e la carne .. prezzi sono economici se relativi alle porzioni Consigliata la prenotazione

03/10/2025: The restaurant is located a bit above the touristy restaurants, which are mostly located by the water. However, it's worth going a bit higher behind the church. In summer, you can sit in the lovely inner garden. It was already too cold for us to eat outside. A clear menu with regional specialties. The pasta with porcini mushrooms is SUPER DELICIOUS for early autumn. Don't miss the focaccia. It doesn't get any better! The chestnut cream is also highly recommended for dessert. A wonderful taste experience. Friendly and good service. An insider tip!
03/10/2025: Excellent restaurant in the middle of old Cannobio. Only the Grignolino left something to be desired despite its beautiful appearance.

Rifugio Scarteboden

03/09/2025: I was sad to leave. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the price was great. The owners were very kind and helpful. Just above Macugnaga (about a half-hour walk), it's an enchanting place overlooking the town with breathtaking views of Monte Rosa. I highly recommend it to everyone.
26/08/2025: A stop along the descent immersed in nature is highly recommended. Excellent food, excellent service and sublime staff, not to mention the view.
