Ottima cena romana, piatti tipici eccellenti! Carciofo sia alla romana che alla giudia superlativi e carbonara memorabile. Prezzi assolutamente onesti e personale molto cordiale e gentile.

Quirky local eatery. No thrills here. Service was okayish. Basic menu, quality is average, not too bad, but also nothing out of the ordinary. German draft beer, all froth as usual. Retro decor was fun. You got the feeling the owners were doing just enough to keep the place ticking over. The old bread basket trick is still annoying though.

Comenzando con una buena nota, la pizza era muy bueno! El personal era acogedor para sentarse con nosotros, luego les tomó una edad para servirnos. Tal vez su etiqueta va de la mano con la vibra de Roma no se construyó en un día por el tiempo que tomó para ser servido. La ubicación era un buen lugar, no es bueno, pero no está mal. De nuevo la comida era agradable. Muchos restaurantes para elegir para el almuerzo, así que no puedo decir que recomiendo este restaurante, pero si te topas con él la pizza es buena!

This place is a must if you are in Rome. Just a few streets from the Vatican museum, but far enough away from the crowds. Locals eat here so you know that means it’s good! I had a calzone, which was massive but wasn’t expensive. It was delicious!

24/05/2025: Very good food, but it took me less time to get an appointment with the cardiologist than to eat here
22/05/2025: Typical Roman trattoria but not one of those that attract tourists and then give you pre-cooked food. The food here is good. There were four of us and the first courses were very very good. Fast and courteous service. Price slightly lower than the price lists in the city center. In summary: I will definitely go back.

La Carbonara

29/05/2025: True Roman cuisine, impeccable service and a welcoming location, nothing to say, except that sooner or later I will return.
28/05/2025: We had this place recommended to us by our B&B hosts and were not disappointed. The first night we tried to get a table but were unsuccessful so I'd recommend booking ahead or getting there 10 minutes before they open to get in the queue. We got there 10 minutes before opening and once open immediately got a table. The carbonara is amazing and what they are known for but I had the Cacio e pepe which was equally delicious. The food came out very quickly and the portion size was good - we only had one pasta dish each and felt full just from that! Staff were all so friendly and very attentive.
