Americans here! 👋 First time in Italy, just doing Rome this trip. We were told the food in Italy was outstanding, but we struggled to find something different but authentic Italian. We stumbled across this place, and it is AMAZING! It was so good the first night, we craved it and went back 2 days later. The owner waited on our table, he is a very kind gentlemen and pleasant to talk to! He really knows his food and wine! He is passionate about his restaurant which shows in the top quality service, well-kept establishment, and the quality of the food!! Im not one to leave reviews, but I am telling you that you have to eat here! The poached egg appetizer is to die for and the filet mignon was arguably one of the best Ive ever had! (And I've had a lot of steak from famous restaurants) my mother and I shared a lot of our food and they split it up for us. My mother's favorite was the black truffle risotto.

Best truffle risotto I've ever had!!! Tiramisu was incredible. The meat was also well cooked and tasty. Very friendly staff who recommended good wines to go with the food.

A fabulous, well rounded steak dinner. Great price, great wine - the risotto was worth coming back for!

When we arrived at 2:00 PM, there was no one there, which surprised us. In fact, no one came in to eat. We later learned it was because it was very, very expensive and the food was scarce. It was good, but I don't think it was worth it.

Probably the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. The aged Parmesan risotto with black truffle shavings was absolutely incredible.

Loved the relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. The service was great. We got the meatballs with salsa verde. For me it tasted ok. It was definitely a different taste for me. We also got the pulled pork with brioche, it was good. Probably my favorite! For my main dish I got the chicche, crema di ‘nduja, frigitelli e stracciatella. It was ok for me. Totally new taste, not a fan of it. I did like the spiciness to it and the cream, but not whatever the other flavor was. Also, I did find a metal-like thing in my food during my first bite - was not a fan of that. People seem to really enjoy the meat here and perhaps that’s what I should have got.

Everything is fine. Steak is great 👍
