I passed by with a friend of mine on a mountain bike, an excellent location to rest and breathe clean air and enjoy the view that Pian delle betulle offers, we stopped for breakfast and the chocolate cake was very good (I recommend everyone to try it) I didn't try the apple cake but I bet it's worth it. The owner was very friendly, kind and polite, super fast in service and honest prices. On this occasion we stopped to eat a delicious lunch, nice and abundant portions. What can I say, I was super satisfied, greetings and keep it up 💪🏼❤❤

On Tuesdays if you go to the mountains few refuges, bars and restaurants are open, while luckily at Pian delle Betulle there is the Barettino del Decio where you will find a friendly manager and an excellent lunch.

My partner and I had lunch in this small but very intimate and familiar place during our excursion to the Birch Plain in search of some snow, which however was missing. The managers were very welcoming and kind. We felt very welcome. We both ordered two polentas: one with taleggio cheese and venison sauce and one with taleggio cheese and salamella. Both polentas were rich in seasoning and blended into the sauces. The salamella was very tasty and went perfectly with the taleggio giving it an extra touch of deliciousness. For dessert we ordered two very good and fresh blueberry tarts. The price, perhaps a little high for my sensitivity, is repaid by the goodness of the dishes eaten and the friendliness of the managers. A good place to have a pleasant stop.
