I've been there many times and always appreciate it. Simple place but located in a very nice area with also outdoor space. Honest prices and simple but very good dishes. Advised

A place frequented many times many years ago with an outdoor space where in summer you can enjoy the view of the Adda river... breakfast starts and ends with dinner. Tried work menu for lunch: complete for €15 or pizza menu (€10) classic or special. I took the latter and it was thin but very seasoned and easily digestible. We were seated in an internal room and the waiters didn't come by often, however they were friendly. At the other tables we saw a nice mixed fry.

I stayed there many times and I had a very good time. When I returned in December 2024 I found a different menu, much lower quality food, an ATM not working (but they tell you this at the end of the meal, without warning you beforehand, as if everyone was walking around with a lot of cash in their pockets). Disappointing. The location, in Piazza Era, facing the lake, was always splendid. Interior devoid of personality and with anonymous paper placemat despite the 3 euro cover charge

Good and plentiful food. Unfortunately we were a very large group and to make us all fit we were sitting really tight, you couldn't move.

Bar Covo Nord Ovest

11/05/2025: Les pizzas étaient délicieuses. Servies rapidement par un serveur très aimable. Simple et efficace, la vue sur le lac est appréciable.
08/04/2025: Per la pizza sono sempre andato sul sicuro scegliendo il COVO… ma ieri: tradimento! Il Covo è stata la prima pizzeria a proporre a Lecco la pizza spessa col cornicione (alla napoletana) decretandone il successo del locale. Ieri la pizza ci è arrivata a tutti bassa, ho chiesto come mai fosse così al cameriere e mi ha risposto che è da 4/5 anni che ormai la fanno così… o sono rimbambito io (e tutta la famiglia) oppure la risposta è stata sgradevole… sono di Lecco e almeno due tre volte l’anno ci vengo e l’ho sempre apprezzata per lo spessore… stanotte non mi è parso d’aver la ben digerita. Per il resto tutto nella norma.
