Anche quest'anno, siamo ritornati a Lampedusa e il nostro riferimento per la cena è da sempre il Balenottero. Ogni anno mi sorprendono sempre di più, piatti cucinati alla perfezione, pesce fresco con la ricerca di nuove ricette e nuovi sapori. In viaggio culinario tra la tradizione e l'innovazione. Gentilezza ed attenzione al cliente completano quello che ci vuole per ina bella cena in famiglia. Al prossimo anno ....

Eccellente scoperta! Abbiamo potuto essere deliziati dal cibo lampedusano, grazie alla bontà, qualità e serietà del servizio. Pasta con le sarde e finocchietto super!

10/06/2025: This restaurant is run by a Japanese wife, Naoko, and her Italian husband. After climbing the steep stairs to the second floor, you'll find a restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The view from the window is also wonderful 👍 The food was also very good, and the tuna caught here was exquisite. We enjoyed the Italian food, but other customers ordered boat-shaped platters and sushi. The wife, who is the chef, is popular at the market, so you can be sure of the ingredients. The food was really delicious. It's a restaurant I'd like to visit again when I'm in Ortigia. Although it's not in the photo, the frites were crispy and delicious.
04/06/2025: A place to really discover. Ancient, serene and silent atmosphere, from the window you can see a very suggestive glimpse of the sea. The owner is an exquisite person, honest, friendly and efficient, takes all the orders and serves the tables quickly. The food is really good, rich and varied menu, dishes for all tastes, decidedly modest prices especially if compared to the quality of the food and the location. Just think that a few meters away there is a string of tourist and chaotic places that with exorbitant prices do not come close to the quality of the galley. In addition, the place has the particularity of being Italian-Japanese. Absolutely to try and discover. We will definitely return.

03/06/2025: We don’t mind waiting for good food , infact we expect to. However we waited about 40 minutes for our order to be taken - we weren’t even asked if we would like to order a drink. Admittedly the restaurant was busy but nobody except the boss seemed able to take orders . When the food came it was very good but the wait/ being ignored was unacceptable.
29/05/2025: Siamo tornati anche quest’anno a Taverna Sveva. Emanuele, il Padrone di casa, filosofo, ci ha accolto con la consueta gentilezza e disponibilità. Ottimi gli antipasti. Pesce freschissimo, preparato in modo diverso. Tutto ottimo. Abbiamo bevuto dell’ottimo zibibbo. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.
