Average trattoria, excellent socializing through karaoke for lovers. A noisy and noisy atmosphere, where sometimes tone-deaf people can spoil the enjoyment of the food. 18/10/2025: I'm returning to Don Paolo after two years, because he's the only one in Genoa who makes a more than decent Sicilian granita with brioche. I should note that in two years the price has increased by 20%, but not only that... unfortunately, the quantity of granita has decreased by another 20%... now served in a glass of water. As for the quality, however, there's nothing to complain about. Always good. Dear Don Paolo... you've built a reputation in Genoa... but be careful not to ruin it with these little things. The price increase is fine, but make sure you fix the quantity: you need a glass at least 50% larger than the one you get now. Don't be a slouch, and above all, don't ruin the image of Sicily and its oriental granita. A native of Catania, that's my word.
