We were passing through and stopped without a reservation.
the place is welcoming, the staff is polite and friendly and the tables are well spaced from each other.
We enjoyed the dishes but what made lunch unpleasant were the flies that bothered us all the time.
I even told a waiter who obviously apologized politely.
I didn't like that they charged me the cost of the aluminum tray to take away the half hamburger that my daughter didn't even touch.
I paid €100 for 3 burgers, 1 cutlet and 1 plate of cured meats, the 30 cents for the tray could also have been avoided from being added to the bill. I found it inelegant.

Ate menu with starter and 2 first courses. Well done. I didn't really appreciate the house wine but I was still satisfied. Prices slightly above expectations. There is parking

It does not have private car parking but there is no problem parking within 100 metres. In a fairly central position in Castellanza, at first glance you risk being distracted by the external view: from the outside it seems like little more than a tavern but inside the environment is welcoming, as are the friendly and helpful staff.
Having dinner in the company of some "old" high school friends, we consumed a generous mix of platters and as a second course an excellent pasta with wild boar ragout, all with good house red wine. The dishes present themselves well and are also pleasing to the eye: you immediately notice the care taken in preparing them. Good value for money invites you to return.

Nice place and really friendly staff. I had lunch on a Saturday at noon with my friends. Quality cutting board, different from the usual in variety and very enjoyable on the palate. Very good first course and also beautiful to look at. For those who don't already know it, I recommend trying it, excellent!

Good meat and pizza. Interesting proposals. The location is a bit old-fashioned, it could do with a modernization. Attentive and kind service.

Accogliente locale in stile rustico, semplice da raggiungere ma con qualche difficoltà di parcheggio. Personale gentile e disponibile, servizio puntuale e preciso. Tavoli grandi e ben distanziati, in una atmosfera conviviale. Abbiamo gustato i loro taglieri regionali e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti, in particolare quello del SUD , assortito di vari salumi e formaggi, accompagnati dal magnifico gnocco fritto sia normale sia ripieno di squaquerone ( sono da ordinare a parte). Un trionfo di sapori e di profumi. I taglieri sono abbondanti ed in grado di saziare anche i più ghiottoni. Buono anche il vino rosso della casa. Conto onesto alla portata di chiunque. Consigliatissimo.

Posto con una bella atmosfera tra il rustico e il moderno, piatti di qualità, pizza eccezionale con cornicione croccante e prodotti eccellenti. Siamo stati sia a cena sia a pranzo per due taglieri ottimi con salumi, mozzarella di bufala e gnocco fritto. Da consigliare in coppia o con gli amici, anche per tavolate in allegria!
