We spent a day in Campobasso and asked a local shop owner for a restaurant recommendation and they suggested this straight away. They even called and booked a table for us. When we arrived, the table was already set and we were made very welcome. The food was excellent, the wine choice very, very extensive. The meal was fantastic. When we left, the owner greeted us at the door and thanked each of us. What a delight! Go and try it. You will not be disappointed.

Very kind owner, friendly and super knowledgeable in the wine field. Dishes with excellent ingredients and very well prepared without frills and with a lot of substance .. some really interesting and typical. Thanks to Stefano! I will return every time I pass by these parts. Highly recommended 👍

A due passi dal centro di Campobasso troviamo questo piccolo locale per aperitivo e cena, ma potremmo parafrasare che “nei locali piccoli c’è il cibo buono”! Se volete immergervi nella cucina locale assaporando pietanze dal sapore deciso e genuino questo è il ristorante per voi, ovviamente accompagnate sempre da ottime bottiglie di vino selezionate dal proprietario Stefano, un ottimo padrone di casa. Le foto che allego si spiegano da sole. Prezzi in linea con i locali della zona, ma la qualità non manca, anzi la fa da padrone!

Il luogo e l'accoglienza fanno da cornice per il loro cibo veramente squisito. I piatti della tradizione trovano un mix di innovazione genuina, mai fatta di finti orpelli. La cantina spettacolare e l'invito all'assaggio sono sempre pronti. Bravi ragazzi, ottimo team, certamente tornerò

21/06/2025: Restaurant located in the center of Campobasso. It is a more refined solution compared to the classic trattorias/osterias. You eat very well, I also found the dishes abundant. Excellent value for money and also excellent raw materials used. Recommended also because in reality the prices are not at all excessive.
06/05/2025: we had lunch in this restaurant suggested by other people...campobasso deserves to be visited...it's a shame that Molise isn't sponsored much...very hospitable people...we ate local specialties...everything was excellent and very generous portions...the waitress was very good

Trattoria La Grotta Da Concetta

22/07/2025: Warm welcome and hospitality. We walked in without a reservation and they immediately reserved a table for us. The atmosphere is informal and family-friendly, with authentic dishes and generous portions. Excellent value. Fast service, and knowledgeable and friendly staff.
19/07/2025: A welcoming and beautiful place, with spacious rooms spread across several areas. Very good food.
