Ci ero già stato anni fa sempre con un amico di Pozzuoli e ne ero uscito più che soddisfatto, beh ci siamo tornati in compagnia e, se è possibile siamo stati ancora meglio. Bravi simpatici e cucina ottima, piatti ben presentati ma soprattutto BUONI.

Review – Mascalzone Latino: An Authentic and Welcoming Experience
As a true restaurant enthusiast, I can say that Mascalzone Latino has been able to offer a gastronomic experience that combines professionalism, hospitality and authentic Neapolitan flavour.
Already from the moment of booking, the service proved to be impeccable: maximum availability and courtesy, with Lorenzo also being able to clearly explain to me how the car park works, a detail often overlooked but which makes the difference for a stress-free evening.
When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted with great attention. Given the splendid day, the staff immediately worked to arrange an outdoor table, demonstrating an attention towards the customer that is not to be taken for granted today.
The culinary journey began with a selection of typical Neapolitan appetizers, prepared with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. A beginning that has already set the bar high. The main dish? The pizzas. Authentic, with a perfect edge and a dough that shows all the respect for the Neapolitan tradition. Every bite was an explosion of flavour, thanks to quality raw materials and impeccable cooking.
In conclusion, Mascalzone Latino is a restaurant that I recommend without hesitation: excellent service, welcoming atmosphere and cuisine that can inspire emotions. Perfect for those looking for a corner of Naples, with all its authenticity, in the heart of the city.

Good food, distracted and poorly managed service (it was Sunday and Mother's Day, I imagine there was a crowd, but we had to ask again and again for water/salt/napkins because they forgot)
Really delicious seafood and fried appetizers; the first ones were average, I wouldn't take them again
Fried fish: good
Meat: I took an entrecote, medium cooked, unfortunately not good. It was rubbery and tasteless. 24 euros, not to be taken.
Grilled vegetables: three slices of courgettes and three of aubergines, I would have preferred more quantity and more choice. 6 euros.
As for the table, we were practically on the pavement and it was not protected from the sun (it is not ideal to eat without shelter from the sun from 1pm to 3pm); view of parked cars (see photo)
All in all ok; the internal room is recommended and on weekdays, I assume it is less crowded. Avoid on weekends

Sono sul lungo mare di Pozzuoli, il ristorante ci è stato consigliato da una signora locale. Che dire, siamo stati accolti col tipico calore e simpatia napoletana. L’impepata di cozze che abbiamo preso è sicuramente la più buona che abbiamo mangiato, servita sopra una soffice pizza bianca a forma di zuppiera. Essendo degli amanti di mitili, abbiamo preso anche degli spaghetti alle cozze, e anche questi hanno soddisfatto divinamente le nostre aspettative. Infine, un ottimo caffè napoletano ci è stato offerto dal simpaticissimo e gentilissimo cameriere. Se passate da Pozzuoli, non perdetevi i Mascalzoni Latini!

Eating in the sun along the Pozzuoli seaside is already nice, but if they then bring you three first courses cooked in an exceptional way it's the best. We took a spaghetti with clams and a scialatiello with seafood and these two dishes were an explosion of well-balanced seafood flavors without making you savor only the fruits but also an exceptional seasoning, then the pasta is Potatoes with Provola I have no words for this simple dish which encompasses the good cuisine of this restaurant. It was a surprise for me when I stopped on the street and was invited in, congratulations.
