Excellent point of reference for watching a good film

A few steps from the ancient seaside village of Avola Vecchia, this restaurant is housed on two levels in a modern building. On the ground floor, entering from the street, there is a large, variously structured room in which the tables are distributed, the room on the upper floor is smaller. The furnishings are modern, with some elements that recall the seafaring activity that took place nearby (there was a thriving tuna fishery which is now almost completely in ruins): the tables and place settings are in harmony with the environment: the welcome, despite the large turnout, it is good, the service courteous and punctual. Now let's get to the dishes. The proposal is varied but obviously favors fish-based dishes; the wines offered are sufficient, also, on request, local wine of reasonable quality. Fish-based appetizers, first and second courses ditto; desserts focus on local pastries and ice cream shops. In the opinion of the writer, the quality of the dishes, excluding some courses, is not up to what should be a fresh fish proposal, perhaps promised by the chef's desire to amaze. The price is acceptable, all things considered.
