I Gutt d'Oli In Verbania

We spent 10 days at Lake Maggiore and ate only at this restaurant. It wasn't worth going anywhere else because every dish was a burst of flavor and the staff were the epitome of friendliness. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. On our last evening, we were incredibly sad to leave. Thank you for the great food and the friendliness, please stay as authentic as you are.

Nice place and very kind staff. Without a reservation they welcomed us right away. Outdoor place. We had an appetizer of warm bread with raisins and raw ham and bacon with honey. All good. Then we had a first course of garganelli with wild garlic pesto which wasn't bad but lacked some ingredients to give it an extra boost. (a bit bland) for the rest, a place that I recommend to those who are in the area. I will return to try the pizza and the other dishes that seemed excellent.

A real Italian pizzeria completely off the beaten track

We really enjoyed this charming Italian restaurant, located a little away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Maggiore. On the recommendation of the waiter, we chose the daily specials: a delicious risotto and tasty Gorgonzola pasta. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed an excellent tiramisu accompanied by an excellent house wine—a perfect combination.

The restaurant I Gutti d' Ol was a fantastic experience. A fantastic restaurant with a lovely garden. You make a reservation and then you receive a warm welcome. There were nine of us there: my children, my three grandchildren, and the three grandchildren. The selection of dishes is amazing; we went three times. We always had first courses, second courses, and dessert. All of the dishes, including the wine, were excellent. My grandchildren, who are critical eaters, were absolutely thrilled. It was a culinary journey through Italian cuisine. Bravo! A big compliment to the chef and his wife, the friendly waitresses, and the excellent chefs. Keep up the good work. Just one comment: you negative reviewers and complainers: please stay at home; only there will things be as you're used to. Thank you very much, keep up the good work.

Everything was excellent, super fast and friendly service. We had barely ordered when the food and drinks arrived. However, reservations are highly recommended (certainly, they can also be arranged in German).
