Beautiful place, delicious food and wine, the service was spectacular, with care taken to keep the food warm until I could meet my husband. I highly recommend it!

First visited while studying abroad in 2014, and it has remained a cozy and reliable stop on many trips since! I keep planning to change things up, but more times than not, I wind up ordering the Ghibellini pizza, and it never fails. Esmeralda was a wonderful host on our most recent visit!

11/11/2025: We tried sandwiches lambredotto and with pork. Mmm yummy. Amazing street food in Central market!
09/11/2025: I went around 2pm and ate at a table next to mine. During lunchtime, the table next to mine was full, so I recommend getting it to go and eating on the second floor. They also sell tripe burgers on the second floor, but I think the tripe here is tastier.

Ristorante Pizzeria Ponterosso

19/10/2025: Best pizza I've ever eaten. The dough is perfect, the staff is incredibly friendly, and you can't help but enjoy it!
11/08/2025: We had a delicious meal at this authentic Italian pizza restaurant. We entered via the outdoor staircase, where three men were preparing the food. We were able to sit on the rooftop terrace, where an enthusiastic young man was serving. With four kids and four adults, we enjoyed pasta and pizza at a surprisingly low price. Highly recommended.
